Quick, efficient, and friendly service. 5 stars for the most moist and juicy Chile rellenos I've ever had. Beans and rice packed with flavor. Spicy, fresh salas for a kick or cool them down with crema fresca. Tortillas are so fresh the huge stack I was given turned into rocks the next day. Very easy to reheat. I need to learn how to properly store them.

Dropping two stars because of the three meat dishes I had (carnitas tacos, carne asada tacos, and beef stew), all were on the dry side. I had to load them up with toppings for moisture. (I rate 5 star meat as crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside.)

Would come here again to eventually try everything and find out what they do best.

Tortilleria La Esperanza is a different sort of eatery. It is designed for take out service only. My wife assumed she would get tacos but they do not sell tacos as a meal option. What they do offer (and it is a valuable addition to our area) is an array of proteins, expertly prepared and available for review on a hot bar. One can purchase meals (protein of your choosing, side of rice and a side of beans), proteins by the pound, fresh corn tortillas, red or green salsa and others. Super authentic food! I’m Mexican and I am sooo picky about authentic restaurants. Even though there is no diner to sit in. You can take home some very delicious & authentic dishes. They are very kind, have a variety of salsas, from not spicy to really spicy. All types of meats and meals. They even offer different rice and beans and not a lot of places like these do.
