I can't even tell you how disappointing it is to see the sharp decline in both service and quality of food. When the restaurant first opened, they had fresh and delicous food as well as friendly employees. The last several times we have experienced poor service, stale bread, brown & wilted lettuce and even an arguing manager on duty. They were out of cheddar broccoli soup 3 out of the last 4 times I tried to get it. I placed a to go order via the telephone and when my husband arrived to pick it up it was wrong. The manager actually agrued with him over what I ordered. Today, I made my final trip to McAlister's in Clermont. When our food was ready, the server was in such a hurry to drop off our food that she dropped and ran, nearly knocking over my friend's iced tea. My sandwich had mayo smeared all over the outside of the bread. I had to eat it with a knife and fork to avoid getting mayo all over my hands. There is no excuse for that. We had our "Refill" sign up for 10 minutes and no one ever came to refill our drinks before we had to leave to go back to work. I don't like to write negative reviews as I understand everyone can have "off" days, but when you point out an issue to the manager and they in turn blame the customers, there is a major problem in the organization. The franchise owner/corporate really needs to address the major decline in service and quality at this establishment before...
Read moreWe have gone there several times now and every Time is dynamite! The French dip is my favorite and I have tried several other sandwiches there and they are always delicious and made perfectly. Sylvia greeted us when we walked in and She is very helpful, friendly and always pleasant. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager Dakota and he was very sweet and professional. He was very down to earth and understanding when I spoke with him. I told Dakota sometime when I come in I’m gonna try the carrot cake but today I’m full. He said it was very delicious and he highly recommends it. The picture of the carrot cake was stuck in my head so I couldn’t wait to come back and I was so impressed that tasted as amazing as the picture looked. It was better than I could’ve ever imagined and I never had one as good as that. The the restaurant is always very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful it is such an enjoyable experience for me to go to McAlister‘s deli.
The first visit when we were there we were greeted by Neville and he was very helpful since We asked for For suggestions and all of the suggestions that he made we found to be excellent. You definitely won’t be disappointed. You will want to keep coming back to McAlister‘s deli it is that good. Have a great day hope to...
Read moreWe had Costco on board, so we decided on takeout. We only saw this place since we were stuck in traffic. The deli/restaurant sits back from the road due to a huge retention pond. While there are plenty of parking spaces, the parking lot is rather narrow and takes some maneuvering to get through it. The deli appeared clean had no special decor that I noticed. The staff we dealt with were cordial and friendly.
The deli has a fairly decent menu with plenty of offerings. My wife had the McAlister's Club Wrap with the Tomato & Cucumber Salad side, and I had the Sweet Chipotle Chicken on ciabatta bread with potato salad.
It seemed like our order took a while as I watched others pick up their orders. We got the order, and we were out the door. Since my sandwich was hot, I warmed it up after getting home. We both really enjoyed our meals. My wife did say her side was okay, but the wrap was really good. Prices were very reasonable and the food very...
