Benny's Bar — Restaurant in Cleveland

We were craving GOOD Puerto Rican food we had just came back from visiting family in Puerto Rico. We fell in love with the food on the island, Puerto Rico has the BEST FOOD! At Benny's Mary took good care of us, we all got the yellow rice with pigion peas, plaintains, chicken with red sauce. It was all delicious! Rice cooked perfect, chicken tender, the plantains better then what we had on the island! Our boy was thrilled to play the arcade game and I adored watching my loves play pool. The place is beautiful, clean and modern...it smelled good and fresh even in  the bathroom. Best long Islands we ever had!!! Private parking lot in back with police station literally right next door. This place is a rip-off. I like to support small businesses. I understand that prices have gone up because of the pandemic. However, the majority of their clients are minority hard working people who choose this place believing they will receive a humble experience. Instead, they are charged double the price for all their water down drinks and food that is not edible. People are not expecting to go to a corner bar and pay double the price of a high-end restaurant serving high-end food and mixed drinks. They may be a minority-owned business, but they don’t consider the community they are serving. Thankfully, there are other small businesses providing services with their customers in mind. If you want to come here for the music, make sure you eat and have your drinks someplace else! And the bartenders are all rude with zero experience in...

Do you believe in love at first bite?! Because I do. My friend and I stopped today at Bennys because I heard a LOTTTT about their Empandaillas. Bennys opens at 5 pm we were there at 5.15 pm sharp. We ordered chicken and beef empanadillas, arroz con gandules y tostones, sandwich de jamon y queso and more tostones for home because there was no more room in our belly. I have never ate such good food in my life. You taste love and the care that the chef is putting into all the delicious meals. The service was amazing. The bartender was amazing and such a great time. She recommended us items on the menu and more food that we will be back to try. She was also surprised to see how much we could eat .. but like it’s not my fault they cook so good. Today I really had one of my happiest day because I ate such great food . I will be back...
