I don't know where to start. I initially chose this restaurant to host a very special 40th birthday after dining here once before and being blown away by the food. It is smaller and quaint, but the staff were fabulous and food, to die for. I booked seating on patio a week in advance for a group of 24 people. Unfortunately due to weather changes the day of the event, there had appeared to be a chance of rain. They called me to confirm 4 hours prior to our arrival, we decided to take a chance to go with it as it was way too soon to change dinner plans for that many people. I called to confirm the day of that we are coming. I called again to let them know 30 minutes prior that we are on the way. Upon arrival, with all 20 of my guests, we proceeded to wait OUTSIDE ON THE SIDEWALK, for an HOUR before being seated. I kept having to ask when things would be ready, urging them to keep it moving. I understand a slight delay, but an entire hour after having reserved such a large party with a weeks notice and multiple confirmation calls the day of, and I have 20 guests standing outside waiting. I couldn't believe it. And the hostess had acted like I was crazy for being upset. We finally get seated, and they had 2 young servers bringing out waters for the table. TWO. AT. A TIME. Each of them came out with 2 waters each, went back in, 5 minutes later, two more waters come out. DO THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT A TRAY IS ? On top of waiting an hour just to sit down, we waited 20 minutes for water. I had guests going to the bar by themselves just to get a drink! We ordered champagne for the entire table, of which took another 30 minutes just to get glasses set out and each guest to be poured champagne. I had to ask the server in the middle of it to just put in an order of 6 appetizers to get some kind of food out to people as its been 2 hours now of WAITING for seats and water. Not even bread or butter was brought out. I had another guest order 2 additional bottles of champagne for everyone. Another half hour had gone by, he then went inside to the bar to check on it just to find out that they were never told of the additional champagne order, the server forgot to tell them. And so he cancelled it. By the time the appetizers finally came out, rain had come. No one came out to see if we were okay. I had to look and ask for someone to come out so I could graciously tell them we were leaving. 2 hours for seats, water, appetizers and to be treated like absolute trash. This was the most disgraceful and disgusting embarrassment I have ever seen and had to experience from a restaurant. I had nothing but good things to say before, and no one could ever predict rain, but they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves after that performance. And to top it all of~ I was still charged. I am amazed at my ability to have been able to keep my cool as I did, as well as writing this review. Unprepared, unapologetic, rude, at the very least they could have just said they are or were not equip to handle a larger party instead of this. I hope they are happy they ruined a very...

Read moreIncredibly disappointed! I was craving Lasagna and asked Google who had the best Lasagna in town. It recommended Bruno's so without hesitation, I called to place an order. I was asked if I wanted soup or salad with my Lasagna. And I said I would like a Caesar salad. I also ordered a bowl of the wedding soup because I love wedding soup and wanted to taste theirs. I asked if the bread and garlic butter would still come with my meal and she assured me it would. So I go to pick up my order. Took it home, opened the bag and there was a bowl and a cup of wedding soup. No Caesar salad. There were 2 foil balls in the bag. And when I opened them up, I discovered that was the bread which was 2 very small pieces with an overdone crust and not a drop of this great garlic butter that I have heard about. So I decided to pass on everything else and just focus on my Lasagna. When I opened the container, I couldn't believe the size of the Lasagna that was in there. It was huge and looked delicious. But it appeared that they had baked it on a piece of foil and put the Lasagna, foil and all, inside the Styrofoam container. And I thought to myself, oh boy. I'm going to have to be really careful. Or I'm going to get some pieces of foil in my mouth. So I took my first bite which was indeed tasty, but oh my gosh, the salt. Wow, way too salty. Unnecessarily salty. So I took a couple more bites trying to be very delicate because of the foil and sure enough, I bit down on a piece of foil. Well, that pretty much ended the meal for me. So I tucked it in the fridge with the hopes of reheating it maybe later or tomorrow. But I'm afraid that I spent quite a bit of money to have 4 bites of super salty food. I'm not sure why it gets the rating of best Lasagna in Cleveland. It's definitely the biggest Lasagna in Cleveland but by no means would I have ranked that number one...
