Honestly, so disappointed in the experience I had here. The weather was nice, so I decided to take the kiddos to the zoo and then was looking for a mom and pop type of diner. I found this one and went for the first time. They were not busy at all, there were two other customers in the building.. One of which was getting ready to leave and the other had just been served their food. I placed my order, The waitress came out within minutes and said that they didn’t have an ingredient for something that I ordered (ordered the northerner , they didn’t have Canadian bacon) I said that’s fine, can you just swap it for regular bacon. She said yes ma’am and went on about her day. About 15 minutes go by, she brings out my toddlers food which was really nice.. she was hungry and I love when they bring my kids food first. However, another 15 minutes go by, and she comes back to the table and tells me they have no corn beef.. (The main ingredient in the Northern) at this point, I’ve been seated for a half hour, with no customers in the building and my toddler has already been served.. I explain that at this point I don’t wish to order anything else. It wasn’t to be a nuisance, but because if anyone with children knows their capacity isn’t very long. She probably would have behaved another 15-20 minutes. Which is not to any fault of the restaurant, but it is why I opted for a family style diner. They’re usually much faster and more efficient. Not this time. I was bothered because they came out the first time and explained they didn’t have something, they should have checked to see if they had everything else and not waited so long AFTER others at the table were already served.. And then they offered NO compensation or did nothing to try and make the situation better or experience more pleasent. I was still charged full price for Drinks and the kids plate. I don’t mind paying for food, they’re a business, I get it! But after the service received, they could have compt the drinks or offered a discount for a future order.. or something.. anything… they DID NOTHING to try and recify the situation. Needless to say , I won’t be back and encourage others to be weary of their menu...
Read moreI woke up this morning and decided to treat my mom to breakfast i only decided to come here because i came before with my client who is a regular when i went in today i placed my order and requested plastic sliver wear i was told by waitress it would cost $1 so i requested just a cup of hot water after 15 minutes of waiting for our food the waitress come back i begin to start dressing my food up and notice my butter wasn’t melting on my pancakes and my cheese wasn’t melting on my eggs everything was cold im not sure of that’s because she wanted to bring everyone food out as 1 but when i pulled up i seen a cook smoking in the back so I wasn’t sure if there was a extra hand in the kitchen . So i told the waitress how i felt and my mom asked for onions on her hash browns when order was placed but didn’t receive it so she also told the waitress and she just walked away! so the manger came out sat at a table and I approached her and asked could I speak with her and as im expressing how I felt I was still willing to eat there just wanted warmer food she interrupted me and said “ I been cooking breakfast for 40 years and I never delt with any problems except for you kind of ppl “ and I was offended by that so I said ill just leave and she told me I had to pay for the food just because I dressed it so to avoid problems that’s what I did and I took the food to go even though I didn’t want it but she made me pay for it and as I was walking out to my car she came running out the back taking a picture of my license plate and I proceeded to leave I will NEVER go back there or referr someone to go there I was very uncomfortable and felt like I was being watched and judged before I even placed a order they were very racist this was a horrible experience and my first time being racial profiled they money was never a problem the prices ARE amazing just ran poorly bathroom was filthy unsanitized soap dispenser was empty nobody wears gloves better management is...
Read moreGrubHub order: We ordered and it said 55 minutes max. It's 20 minutes past, we call. The order had sat for 45 minutes in the heat because there was no driver to deliver. They couldn't call us and tell us? REALLY?! And, they had the audacity to tell us to eat the food because the driver showed up to pick our AND ANOTHER ORDER 10 MINUTES AWAY AND WE ARE ONLY 3 MINUTES AWAY!!!!! We offered to pick up a fresh order and they said to call GH which got us nowhere. So they literally delivered a newer order before the already spoiled garbage. GrubHub CS sucks, they too told us to just eat it. They don't want to refund us. Neither GH or the restaurant will refund us. What kind of business is this? Also looks like the driver will have some spoiled food, we didn't answer the door. Will never use this "service" ever again. And it'd be nice if you had people who can understand English in your GH CS. Disgusting in every way. Will never order...
