Glory and Grind — Restaurant in Cleveland

I used to drive 20 minutes just to get Starbucks because none of the small shops around Cleveland ever really did it for me. That all changed when Glory and Grind opened. I'm obsessed. Their coffee is strong, smooth, and honestly better than Starbucks. The cups are super cute, too, with a rounded bottom that makes the experience even better. I work from home and have had a ton of coworkers comment on them when we are on calls. I love that they offer mobile ordering, which makes my mornings so much easier. Lead times can vary a little, but it's not a dealbreaker. They’ve become one of my favorite morning routines and I'm so glad we don’t have to leave town for a good cup of coffee anymore! I have been here 3 times. The first time the espresso was so burnt, I couldn’t even drink my coffee.. After I realized that they had actually just opened a week prior… I gave them a second shot and it was pretty good! Then.. I went a third time, and it was exactly the same way it was the first- awful.

I do wanna love this place, but I definitely think that quality control & lessons on how to pull a shot would be helpful.

The service is always nice, so I can’t give a low star review simply because of that but…taste that coffee before...

This is such a cute coffee shop! But I was underwhelmed with the coffee.. I like my coffee to be a bit more on the stronger side and I love lattes! I saw everyone’s reviews on the tres leches latte so I was very excited to try it. It didn’t really taste like espresso though.. it didn’t really taste sweet either it just tasted more watered down so I was disappointed. I’ll probably get something different next...
