This location is right around the corner from my apartment. I frequent it alot because I love Mr. Hero's and there is a really cool cashier there. Unfortunately, they have no idea how to prepare the food. Nothing is ever done all the way. The bread is never toasted properly. I overhear several customers come in and specially request that they toast the bread. I find myself getting a roman burger from this place and toasting the bread at home in my frying pan, just sad b/c they are supposed to toast it. I've also heard multiple customer specifically request the meat cooked "well done," this was odd I thought, but apparently they dont cook the patties all the way through sometimes and several customers got fed up, so now they feel they have to ask for it to be cooked all the way. The one time I did get fries, they were soggy/half raw, not cooked long enough. Also, I constantly hear customer complain the prices here are more than their sister locations. If you're in a pinch, or lazy like me, stop here, but dont expect that delicious toasted, thoroughly cooked to perfection Roman. If you can, I'd suggest hitting up another location or going down to snow road for some Sonic's, Taco bell or Arbys. Corporate needs to come out and train them on how to cooked the food properly, or maybe this is a sign I should give up fast food and start that diet. New year,...
Read moreFirst when you call the man that answers the phone talks so quickly that you can't understand him at all! This happened twice in two days. I ask "Is this Mr. Hero?" and then he gives the phone to someone who talks slowly and clearly. That is not my complaint but I still had to mention it! I ordered on the phone a few sandwiches, mushrooms, and coleslaw. I picked up the order and brought it home. I noticed there was no coleslaw in the bag. OK, I am not going back up to the store now and I figured I'd call the next day and tell them that I did not get my complete order! I kept the receipt as it referenced the Check # for the day. When I called, of course I was transferred to someone I could understand and when I said I did not get my coleslaw the man I talked to kept telling me the price of each item I ordered and that they put the coleslaw in the bag! I said that I did NOT GET THE COLESLAW! He continued again to tell me the price of each item (BTW coleslaw was listed on the receipt) and I said that if I got the coleslaw I would not waste my time to call them! He proceeded to argue with me! I thought it was unbelievable! I just hung up! Just awful customer service! I will NEVER go to that...
Read moreI will not be back because i asked for a cup of ice after I ordered my meal and the hesitation to give me a cup was ridiculous. I asked the cashier and she never gave me one. When I get my meal I ask again for a cup for ice. The worker tried to give me a little foam dollar tree cup. I never order fountain drinks because I simply don’t like the taste. I had my own bottled drink instead and it wasn’t cold. I don’t know if he thought I was trying to get a free drink. I had to show him I had my own drink then he gave me a Mr. Hero cup with a lid. This is the 2nd Mr. Hero that treated me poorly. I won’t ever eat from any Mr. Hero again. McDonald’s treat me better and it’s cheaper. These people are not friendly. I felt like a number $$ instead of a...
