Good food - bad business practices. A friend "Ana" took me here months ago. Tight seating, but good food. Planned to meet up with Ana last week with some friends - a 30min drive to find the place closed. If you are going to be closed earlier than normal - you need to post it. I was online looking for special so nothing said closed. The next day, I did see that someone asked about taco tue and it wasn't until she responded that she said she would be closed (that was late in the afternoon). So if you had an appt why would you not take to facebook (her only social media presence) and post it? Ana said this was the 3rd time she has experienced the place being closed without notice. She lives 10min away. Ana said she will not be back after this latest incident. Even this past Sunday (Feb 29) - online says hrs 11:30 - 5pm FB (Google 11:30 - 3pm). She poster at 3:19 that she would be closed for the day. How is that helpful 4 hrs after you are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, you Google "Empanadas" like I did. Checked the numbers of reviews and read a few to see who ate what, of course customer service ?
Don't let the low numbers of rated review hold you off from trying, go try it for yourself. I tried other places with more reviews and I was very disappointed.
I had Cafe con Leche and Empanadas (breakfast, Hawaiian and chicken) it was DELICIOUS!!! undeniably I tasted homemade. Bread pudding, guva cheese quesito, this was her special (not on the menu you see on Google)
Do not looks at the menu that is posted on Google/images. Use the link to her Facebook account. Her menu are based on availabilities of staff and supply which she posts daily.
last but not least, customer service. I texted her about peanut allergies and this was her words "We cook with canola oil we care about cross contamination". Response was very satisfactory, I can't wait to go back and try everything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you want an experience of a life time, come to Sabor Miami! All the food is made to order and high quality.
My family ordered the empanadas, Cubano sandwich and a mocha. My mom is normally extremely picky when it comes to mochas but this is now her favorite place to get them!
While we did have to wait a bit, it is most definitely worth it! Patience is a virtue, after all.
The owner is so sweet as well. I've always wanted to try Cuban coffee because I heard it was strong, she came out and gave me a small sample. Now I'm hooked for life.
Another thing I would like to talk about is the atmosphere. There is so much artwork and cultural appreciation flowing through this place. This place is so lively and bright!
You can feel the love that they put into this place and into their food.
12/10. They absolutely exceeded my...
