I enjoyed eating there but for some reason one lady was extremely rude to my husband and I. We always order the same dish, one with noodle and one with rice. We were even told to ask for the "old man" if the waitress doesn't know what we are referring to. When I ordered on this day, the waitress did not understand and we asked for the "old man". I guess he didn't remember and the order was wrong. The waitress was very mad about that and started yelling at us. I asked her to calm down and please try again. The second time was both noodle. When we told her, she yelled at us again for not knowing what we are ordering. This time she was yelling in the kitchen about us. I was sooo embarrassed we could hear her. She yelled at us when she bought out the food that we wasted the food. We ate it anyway because were starving. She came back to tell us how we got it wrong and yelled for a fourth time. I asked her to stop. She said she will have to charge us extra for the wasted noodle. She left our table and never came back with the check. We went to the register and she rushed up there to check us out. I told her my experience was extremely embarrassing because she yelled at us in front of all these people in the restaurant. She said, I guess your GOD!. My husband was really upset by that comment and vowed that we never come back there. I hated that day and that was the worst experience I ever had there. The others who worked there were clearly shocked by her behavior. She didn't care about the yelling and still charged us an extra $7 for each meal although it was only noodles that was discarded. I still think about that day and how we were treated by this lady. Please be careful about the waitstaff. You may have a bad experience like we did. I shared this experience with all of my...

A little feedback about this visit! When we arrived, the place was really crowded, but about 15 minutes later we got a table. It seems the staff here are not fully trained yet, so they were a bit confused. First, when guests are seated, it usually takes 5–10 minutes before they ask about drinks. After serving drinks, they should ask whether the guests want to order food right away or wait.

In our case, we were served in a way where all the orders had to be placed at once, so the waiting time was rather long (about 15 minutes, even though it wasn’t busy anymore).

We ordered 2 sugarcane juices, 1 coffee with milk, 1 avocado smoothie, special rice, dry noodles, Hue beef noodle soup, and thick noodle soup.

Later, the staff came to tell us that the sugarcane juice was out, so we switched to cold water. However, the coffee with milk and the avocado smoothie were brought out first, while the 2 glasses of cold water never came. After that, the food was served, and even after eating for a while, we still didn’t have our drinks or a plate of vegetables. Only when we asked did they bring it out. On the table, there were also no condiments like fish sauce, soy sauce, chili sauce, pepper, etc.

And we noticed something strange — the spray bottle for cleaning tables was kept together with the condiments???

The food was relatively decent, the broth was tasty, but we didn’t understand why when ordering dry noodles it came with a small bowl of soup, yet the special rice didn’t (apparently you only get soup if you order grilled pork rice??).

Overall, they should have a basket or tray with all condiments ready. The prices are a bit high compared to what we had. The avocado smoothie was also on the...

A friend called himself getting me some soup from this restaurant while we were downtown, raving that pho was amazing. I ordered what was supposed to be chicken and noodle soup When I got home I realized that the restaurant had made a mistake and gave me some type of seafood soup instead. Due to me not living near the restaurant I called to let them know so that hopefully when I was close by I could pick up the new soup but noone answered. When I finally got in the area I came to the restaurant and brought back the soup. They insisted that I didn't get the soup from them even though I was with my friend when you went into the establishment and brought out the soup. I even told them I tried calling and noone answered. They questioned what number I called and they confirmed that it was the right number. They did not help me and for that they get 1 star and I will not come back just in case you were...

Always judge a place first on taste, quality and presentation of the food. Secondly on service. And thirdly on price. In the past, I have had AMAZINGLY delicious food from places with terrible service. That didn’t change the taste of the food at all, just the customer service experience was not great. And I’ve eaten at expensive restaurants with amazing service but terrible food. The great service didn’t make the food taste better. I don’t go to restaurants to be treated like I am at a salon. I go to a salon for that. I go to a restaurant for the food! This is not a Michelin rated restaurant, so don’t expect that! This IS a place with great food at reasonable prices with friendly staff. Number One Pho is delicious! The place is cozy and clean. The service is fast and friendly. And the food is delicious and flavorful. HANDS DOWN the best place in CLE for Pho!

I don't understand what the hype is all about! If u don't mind the bad service and hair in ur food, then this place is for u! As u look closely at the attached pic, u can see clearly the strand of hair on my pork spring roll. I sent it back and was not charged. Server did apologize but grinning as if she doesn't care. The beef pho was ok but nothing special. I ordered just water with lemon, server said no lemon just lime. What kind of restaurant doesn't keep lemon in the kitchen!!! I said that's fine, and she still gave us water without the lime. Also, the pork dishes we had, many of the pork pieces were mostly fat! Couldn't finish the dish because of that!! I would never go back or recommend anyone to dine there. There are better Vietnamese restaurants nearby. That's maybe why the place was somewhat empty.
