Pho Sunshine — Restaurant in Cleveland

*Update: I went back today because I said I would. I ordered their special Phở and gỏi cuốn. Their gỏi cuốn is pretty standard. It has all the ingredients with a generous amount of meat, so I enjoyed it. Their phở did not disappoint. It’s not the best broth, but the flavor is there. They did have a generous amount of meat as well. Overall, I decided to change their rating to 5 stars because they are comparable to some of the phở places in the area. Still not my favorite, but I do recommend it to anyone who wants a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and decent food. I saw that this place just opened recently and decided to check it out. As a Vietnamese foodie, I’ve been to most of the Vietnamese restaurants in Cleveland. I will have to say, this place is okay. I ordered the Bún bò Huế and have mixed feelings about it. We like that they have many of the authentic ingredients that makes the dish, such as the blood gelatin(they only had one in my bowl), but the broth wasn’t as good as it could be. I think if you’re used to having low sodium in your food, this would be really good, but it’s missing the sweetness of the bún bò Huế broth. The location and services are great, but the higher prices and flavor is a bit lacking for me. However, I would be willing to give it a second try next time and order phở, assuming it’s their specialty because...

We ho her a lot after shopping! Until today everything used to be great. The server was always nice to us. Today she looked stressed and for some reason busy with us and 4 other tables. Food used to always be good, and it was today until we found bugs in our soups. Accidents happen of course, but WOW the atmosphere changed when we quietly showed the bugs we found and quietly asked just to pay for the shrimp rolls so we could be on our way. The server was disrespectful and loud and the cook for whatever reason came out didn't say anything but just starred at us. The bill came and was correct with the discount, I politely asked what was the total amount so I could atleast tip accordingly and the server raised her voice saying "I already discounted the bill what else you want", smh so upset she didn't even realize I was still trying to give her a proper tip. This used to be a great restaurant to go to BUT...

I have to say I'm very disappointed in this place! The food tasted bland, no flavor (I got the chicken Pho) I asked for spring rolls and they gave me the rice paper rolls and said they were better (what if i had an allergy to this) I didn't like how pushy the waitress was and then trying to say something was better because you got the order wrong and didn't want to change it. we asked for tea and was told they don't have the item when it's clearly on the menu. the list goes on...but, the kicker was the insect we found in our food we didn't say anything because we felt nothing would be done so we just paid the...
