I ordered a new rackmount UPS system. Delivery was prompt but I received a defective unit that was obviously used and/or reconditioned. Apart from the re-taped box, the password for the system's admin account had been set to something other than the default.
To get this item replaced with a new item I had to pay shipping. To get a refund I would have had to pay shipping AND a 15% "restocking" fee. This company deals in gray market product and makes money regardless of the outcome. You have been warned.
In the CompSource response to my review they state "We are more than happy to assist and replace the product but you are refusing to do so." This is a flat out lie. I haven't refused anything.
I submitted an RMA for the product less than 36 hours after it was delivered. I received an email in reply in on January 1st which said "Your RMA request has been received. You should receive a response within 24-48 business hours, though some returns may take up to 5 business days." Well, their response with the RMA number was finally sent today, January 13th. That's almost two weeks.
I did try to contact them by phone, of course, but after being placed in the queue for customer service, when it finally rang through I was sent directly to voice mail. I saw no point in leaving a message asking them to contact me since I was already waiting for them to contact me. And now they have the unmitigated gall to accuse me of "refusing" to do something.
Furthermore, I can find nothing that indicates that CyberPower has a facility in Harrisburg, PA which is where my shipment originated. However, the first Google hit on "CompSource Harrisburg, PA" clearly indicates that they have a warehouse facility at that location. So this was almost certainly not shipped directly from the manufacturer. Finally, the product box had a bar code label stapled on the outside that said "RPL for Zone M" whatever that means. But the date on that label was June 27, 2014. No modern manufacturer keeps six months worth of stock on hand. Something is...

I just got off the phone with the owner and was able to resolve the issue. Compsource was able to address the issue and resolve it for me. I got an apology and they are giving me free priority shipping to ensure I get the product on time. The fault turns out was not Compsource but the distrubutors who forgot to ship my item. I will say this customer service at compsource is outstanding. I never was on hold and got to speak to a person right away. I really like that the owner was involved that really show that this company cares for their customers. I WILL be doing business with compsource again. Even though this started off on the wrong foot the customer service i recieved gives this company a 5 star rating.
I RECOMMEND COMPSOURCE wont get this level of customer service anywhere else.

I find myself getting frustrated. I order 4 items on Feb 15 2019. I got 3 out of 4 items on feb 22 2019. However, i am still missing one item. I contacted customer service on Feb 25 2019 to inquire about the missing item and was told they would email with a status. I never got an email response. So I called them again today feb 26 2019 to find out what was going on the representative said the contacted the person that was supposed to ship but got no response and that manager would get involved and will email me with an update. They could not confirm that my item was shipped either. So now I'm stuck in limbo, I am getting upset with the way things are being handled. I will update this post once I get more...

Placed an order for a monitor that was supposed to be delivered on August 28th, I didn’t get any tracking for an entire week so I decided to give them a call after rrezching our 3 times and getting no answer. I was transferred to the sales rep Jordan Olivares who said they were shipping it out today and I told him when I called the first time to hold off..which was not tre I called him the first time because they aren’t part of the 4 point buyers protector. And price match guarantee.. which is also a lie when I called I was told they can’t match the price of there competitor becuSe then they make no money so I said fine process the order if I decided the cancel I would call back within the hour ( which I never did ) never got returned calls.. all I can say is piss poor service first time shopping outside of new egg or amazon and I already regret it. Cancelled my order and placed with new egg and they were more sympathetic and offered me 2 day shipping free.. will also be calling back later to have my brother cancel his orders as well

Me calling back if I want the item shipped is the craziest things I heard.. no ? If I wanted the item cancelled wouldn’t I call for that ?
