Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Cleveland

I suppose inept is the word, but this Pizza Hut has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

(1) Order delivery - online ordering system says 45 minutes. Actual time to delivery? 1 hour 45 minutes.

(2) Month later, apparently not having learned my lesson, order again. Online ordering system says 45 minutes. Actual time to delivery? 1 hour 45 minutes.

At this point I think it's time someone fixes this problem. Clearly they have some delivery issues or managerial issues.

(3) I complain - explaining my experience via the Pizza Hut Customer Service Dept. They send me two coupons for free pizzas. Yeah!

Not so fast...

(4) A month later I call and order with the coupons. Person doesn't appear to be able to find me in the computer, saying something like its not showing up in our system.... Uh usually I can't do this but I'll let you order them anyways. (yeah these are coupons from Pizza Hut, so yay, thank you for letting me use the coupons you sent me as an apology).

(5) He/She says pizza will be here in 45 minutes to an hour. Skip forwards 1 hour 40 minutes. No pizza. I'm hungry.

(6) I call. Same guy/lady answers. I explain no pizza is here. He/She pretends not to recognize me, says my name wrong about 10 times, "Uh did you say John Brown?" (cause that's so close to my name... not). Finally he/she says "Oh the guy that had the pepperoni and pepperoni/bacon/jalapenos?" After I placed that order, someone changed it to carryout!" You didn't want it carryout? I'll have it right over."

I wish I trusted they would have it right over... I also wish I trusted that it wouldn't have anything questionable done to it... But I don't. Matter of fact not sure I should even try it.

They did have it right over... It was cold. No jalapenos. I don't trust it.

The fact that a national chain pizza place takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to deliver pizza is incredibly ridiculous.

I visited the Pizza Hut on APD-40 Cleveland, TN. While I was there I watched an employee (Robin) speaking unprofessionally towards other employees, I watched her handle food, use her phone, eat breadsticks (and then place the half eaten breadstick on the same surface she was placing pizzas) and chug out of a 2-liter of mountain dew...all without washing her hands once. She later disappeared into the back with the manager on duty and while customers were coming in another employee had to retrieve the MOD-I think his name was Justin? she came back out a few minutes later as well. Still having not once seen this girl wash her hands and she went back to handling food. Not only was her conduct towards coworkers in front of a customer unprofessional but her complete disregard for sanitation when I could clearly see her made me feel completely disgusted and disrespected. I only ate my pizza because there was an older gentleman that I had seen wash his hands retrieve my pizza and breadsticks from the oven while she was in the back. I hope that this was a fluke on the one restaurant, and not a representation of Pizza Hut as a company because if so, I will not be doing business with said...

I give three stars because of how fast my order was ready. The pizza looked cooked just right. I ordered online and that is why it's not five stars. When you make your own pizza there is a way to choose your sauce. But there is not a way to order easy sauce. I have seen them at the restaurant and I would imagine that they are putting too much sauce on the pizzas because that's how they are trained. A huge ladle of sauce starts pouring at the top and quickly goes around the pizza top to bottom. This method makes it have FAR TOO much sauce on the upper part of the pizza and hardly any towards the bottom of the slices. Perhaps they could slow down pouring the sauce and distribute it evenly across the whole pizza. We have tried other pizza chains and they do the same thing. Hopefully bringing it to Pizza Huts attention the matter can be resolved. I am sure more customers have had the same issue as I have. I will go to the restaurant to order in person next time but the last time I did that they did not honor the sale prices as shown on tv. Said it had to be ordered using the app. Please don't make me go somewhere else for my pizza. ...
