The taste of the food was par. First I got there and there was a little bit of a line and I ordered a tuna melt, well she had to go make new tuna because they were out. At lunch time? Then I get to the counter and they're almost out of potato chips and I asked him if they have any baked lays around back and he says I don't know and leaves it at that. I mean what kind of customer service is that when you're not even willing to offer to look? Then he asked me if I want a drink and I said yeah but it looks like you're out of sweet tea do you have any more. He points to the container on the left and said yeah there it is, but there was about a half inch in the bottom of the container and that's what he thought was satisfactory. If it hadn't been for the miniscule amount of lemonade in the container next to it then I wouldn't have even been able to get my cup 3/4 full. So add all of that on top of the fact that my food was not put in a bag and I was not given any napkins and I had to go ask for napkins which isn't a huge deal but it was just one thing after another. When we were eating our food we saw him and another lady in the back juggling tomatoes and dropping them all over the floor, reaching down and picking them up and doing who knows what with them. I'm not sure where the manager was at but they needed some managing.
Edit: I just came back a few weeks later and it was actually worse. At 12:30 I walked in and all the seats were still on the table. I asked for a tuna melt which I get all the time and the guy didn't know what it was. After I paid for my meal I turned around to get some sweet tea and it was empty. I told the lady behind the counter and she just looked at me and said oh it's empty? Yeah that's what I said... This is the third time I've been in here and all the sweet tea is never made when I get here at lunch time. It's empty because it was never made to begin with. The owners of this location better do something quick or it won't last much longer. They made the customers put the chairs off the tables themselves and then they had a huge line of people waiting in line and all three of the people working in there went to the door in the back of the store and sit down on the ground and started smoking and they had a huge line of people standing there waiting to be helped. If I owned this place I would go in there and fire every one of them. They might as well have not even opened their...
Read moreSo, I decided today to hit up subway since I had not had it in a while and try the new garlic cheese bread they have. My daughter and I both asked for the ultimate steak sandwich, well they did not have the cheesy garlic bread, apparently it was not on their truck. Okay, well that sux, so lets do wheat (which looking at the picture of the ultimate steak sandwich they COULD have added the parmesean and mozzarella to the bottom of the wheat bread, but did not), we got plain unflavored steak a small serving by the way barely covered the bottom of the bread. After adding all of our toppings I went to pay and was told she could not break a $50, she could cash in 2 20's but not a 50. okay..whatever, I was already super bumped about the bread but thought okay, lets just enjoy the sandwich. Went to get our soft drink and 3 of the 6 drink choices were running straight carbonation water..REALLY?? I told the lady behind the counter who was enthralled in a conversation with another customer, no problem, I understand that, I am in the customer service business so I understand CUSTOMER SERVICE...which apparently she has not been trained on. I mentioned it to her again after she checked that gentleman out and she said she would take care of it. Well when we see her mopping instead of fixing the drink machine that we had been waiting 6 minutes for, I mentioned it again, the girl behind the counter said she was working on it...after FINALLY being able to get COKE only because she still had to fix the Dr Pepper (and never did to my knowledge), it was still not quite the mix it should be. They made customers wait while the TWO of them filled a to go order, rather than one doing the to go order and the other getting the customer who waiting about 6 minutes to be helped. Needless to say this was the worst trip to subway I have ever had. I guess I learned my lesson today, Firehouse or Jersey Mikes for me from here on out! They both need some customer training courses. Something their district manager should look into since there so many bad reviews on here. At least the cookies were...
Read moreWent to Subway off of apd-40 at 8:35pm Monday 04/29/2024. Parked in parking lot, walked to door and it was locked. 2 workers inside looked at me then ignored me. I walked back to my car to check Subways on my phone and a car pulled up in front of the door. The passenger got out only to find door locked still but they came and let her in so I drove up beside the car and asked the lady if her female passenger worked there. She said no we are getting food. I thanked her, parked a second time walked to the door which surprise!! was unlocked this time. I got 3 feet in the door and one worker a young female blurted out "We are only doing online orders tonight!!" Not a "hello", "how can I help you?" Nothing!...finally I said, " So I can't come to the counter and order now?" The female worker repeated the same thing she had said before. I then asked her, "Are all the Subways in town doing this too?" She said "no you can order your food there, just not here, it's online orders only!" No one was in this restaurant. There were 2 workers, the girl they had unlocked the door for (online order) who by this time had already been there 10 min and she was still waiting on the food she placed ahead of time online. I left since they refused me any service. I went to the Subway on Keith st. In the plaza beside the old Cooke's grocery. One female worker, very pleasant, service oriented, friendly, she fixed me right up, I was out of there in 5 minutes. That was a five stars for me! As for Subway on apd-40 It's zero stars! Wasn't allowed to dine-in, or take-out, won't EVER order online from that...
