You’ve seen the Facebook reviews! You’ve heard the buzz the rumors! You’ve talked to people who have tried and raved!! Get off your butt and get in line! Absolutely amazing pizza done with passion, intent and true skill that only comes from a master of their craft. Upon entering the small, clean and purposeful shop the aroma of fresh ingredients and flour dusted surfaces will have you under its spell. It’s obvious the place means business. Options for pizza toppings are not as limited as the hours but after the first bite you will be a believer. Conversations with the owner/Pizzolo while we waited and preformed his dough magic transported us right to the city of Naples. His knowledge and stories made our 15 minute wait seem like an only a few seconds. Not being able to decide we ended up getting two pies and we’re glad we did! Crisp thin crusts with those dark “leopard spots”, perfectly balanced sauce and low moisture cheese ratio with just the right amount of toppings including basil picked fresh from the plant. Serendipity led us to Uciuni Pizza. Our regular pizza place was closed and this place was open. My daughter and i were traveling from Chicago on our way to Upstate NY when we chose to stop for pizza. We took a chance and we were not disappointed. From the classic looking store front to our first bite, this turned out to be the best pizza we've had in Cleveland. The owner Pietro couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Both my daughter and I immediately comemnted on how crispy the pizza sounded while it was being sliced. We enjoyed our pizza outside on the patio overlooking the neighborhood whichbwas vibrant with Puerto Rican music from across the street. Our first bite was an immediate "this is so good". Judt right amount of crisp, chew, sauce and cheese complemented with fresh basil. I could have eaten the entire pie and so could have my daughter. After enjoying every slice and bite we shared a nice few minutes speaking with Pietro about our experience. We stopped in for another pie the following Friday and it was just as good. I've never written a Google review so fast in my life and really rarely write them at all.

I had the pleasure of stopping in today and meeting Pete. He runs and works at the barber shop a couple doors down. He still considers himself learning about what he makes, this he is still changing the menu often.

He offered to make me his favorite pie. It was absolutely incredible. White sauce, sourdough base crust, bacon, basil, balsamic glaze, extremely flavorful cheese, and a wonderful crunch.

One of the best pies I've ever had. I've had A LOT, near and far. Make sure to eat it hot like it deserves.
