The Tavern Coffee House — Restaurant in Cleveland

Unfortunately I was unable to try anything here as they weren’t open during posted business hours. After waiting 30 minutes after the shop was to open I knocked and an employee said they weren’t open today. After asking how a customer would know that as there isn’t a sign or any indication they wouldn’t be opening at all, she pointed to the closed sign… that again did not specify they wouldn’t open at all. The Tavern Coffee House is not your average coffee house. It's mission focused bringing in youth to learn customer service and art of Coffee. Be patient as they learn the ropes. Ken the owner and founder has great coffee knowledge and you can really taste it in every sip. The breakfast sandwich is awesome would highly recommend. I originally left a negative review but I was able to visit and I am very glad. While it was unfortunate I originally had a negative experience, I’m glad I went back again. The coffee was GOOD ok!
