Stopped in this shop hoping to relax and get a manicure and pedicure. Manager was rude from the start. I inquired about the 10% off sign he had posted, he replied it expired. I asked if he had a mani/pedi combo he said no. I asked the prices for both. I opted just for the pedicure because the price was reasonable for the spa pedicure. He was so rude and condescending during my pedicure that I demanded he have someone else finish me or I'd leave. He said you pay. I said if you do not have someone else finish me I'll pay you half for services rendered. He stated he was going to call the cops. I said call the cops. I have nothing to hide, your rude and disrespectful! He called the cops and asked an officer to come because there was a woman in the shop who was loud and would not pay. I asked him to let me speak to the cops, he said be quiet and sit down. I told him he has a bunch of nerves treating people like this. I further stated no wonder this shop is empty YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! there were 2 technicians and 2 other people in the shop at the time. One woman looked at me and nodded her head in agreement. I sat and waited for the cops to come. 30 minutes went by they never came. I sat there waiting hoping he would let someone else finish me so I could pay and get out of there, but he didn't. Another customer came in and he serviced that client. I finally got up and went to him and stated that I'm not waiting any longer, if you don't have someone finish me now, I'm paying you half and I'm leaving. He said you're going to pay the full price, which was $40. I said absolutely not! You treated me poorly the whole time, stated that I was asking for too much because I wanted him to show me some other colors because I wasn't happy with the color I had. He said no. I walked out he followed me to my car taking pictures of me and my car. I stopped at my car and called the police myself at this point. I informed the officer of what had transpired. The officer stated it was a civil issue and they don't come out for that. He continued to say if I were you I would leave. I told the officer I did but the manager, who was a short round man followed me to my car and is taking pictures. The officer replied he can take pictures, what is that going to do. I was so upset and in shock that this was happening. I took the officer's advice and got in my car and left. The officer continued talking with me, he could tell I was upset. He stated that the fact that the shop was empty with not many customers was probably a good indication that the service is bad. I agreed with the officer and stated that neither one of his staff tried to help the situation. I felt they could have said ma'am if you wait I'll finish you when I'm finished with my customer, no one said anything. This shop will definitely be closed in a few months if he continues to treat people with no respect. No one won in this situation. He didn't get paid, I left with an unfinished pedicure. Have some respect and common courtesy for people or find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery bad experience. I took my Mom there for service. Shop had just opened. 2 techs working that morning, np only 2 customers in the shop my mom cust #2. She initially requested the technician whom the other client came in to see as well. 1st come 1st served np. We were going to wait for that tech, but decided to go with the other tech Tony who was just sitting in his chair scrolling on his phone. When we tried to get his attention he continued to sit there looking at is phone ignoring us. He could clearly hear us saying "excuse me Sir" & I KNOW he understood English because he check my mom in at the front counter. After 3-4 beckonings he got up, still did not look our way, and walked to the back behind this curtain speaking to his ?brother? Johnnie in there language. I could tell by the tone is wasn't polite, but what do I know, I don't speak their language. So Johnnie comes out to the counter. We ask Johnnie does Tony not want to service us? Johnnie, trying to be polite, says that Tony feels that he would be taking his customer????? Why give us choice of technician when we initially checked in? She only requested Johnnie because he had serviced her b4, Johnnie didn't even remember my mom, so how is she "his" customer? And Johnnie had no problem with her going with Tony because he apologetically stated that he would be about an hour with client #1 and Tony could provide the same service. Which is why we called upon Tony. If that was the case Tony could have politely told use himself... too early in the morning for me to take on negative vibes. So I called a nice little shop on the Westside and my mom gladly paid them her $100+. We felt welcomed at the OTHER shop. Tony needs to improve on his customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreShouldāve listen to the reviewer Lauren Jones because same thing happened to me. Went to get a mani pedi on 5/7. The place was clean and service was fast even though they were busy. I walked in because nobody answered to make an appointment (I have proof because I text my husband nobody answered). Hopped on a flight to Florida and noticed my nails looked warped then started chipping a couple days later. I called the salon because I remembered how the owner responded to Lauren Jones but no answer. Got tired of calling so I went in today 5/15 since I didnāt return from Florida til last night. I asked to talk to someone the lady kept over talking me saying it was impossible nobody answered the phone when I called and they have a 3 day policy why didnāt I come in. After I literally told her I was in Florida and couldnāt come in which is why I called. After blaming me for 5 minutes she said the best she could do is $5 off. Seriously?! First insult me by saying I waited to long and lied about calling THEN insult me further by wanting me to pay again? Iām only needed the messed up nails to be fixed. New customers beware!!!! Oh and youāll likely see what I mean from the forthcoming rude reply from the owner under my comment...
