This place taught me a valuable lesson in the various faces of loyalty. I was saddened by the previous restaurant closing considering it is a black owned business and it seemed they just disappeared one day. Well upon walking into the new restaurant in its place MaMa Oddies likeness is everywhere!! I asked the cashier about the old place and etc they said they still do good business with them, serve their cakes and receive help from them. That warmed my heart SO much!! Just off of that alone they got a loyal customer out of me. Now to talk about the food! I am not being at all biased when I say it is delicious, fresh and made with love… I went during the lunch special 10:30-2:30 and got a gyro w fries and drink, a tilapia sandwich with fries and drink and a chicken salad sandwich. It all totaled out to 26.72 so roughly 8.99 + each. I was hesitant about the tilapia Sandwich but the breading was perfect not too hard and didn’t have a lingering seafood taste, just tilapia. The fries where made fresh so by time I got them were a little soft but considering I still ate them, just needed some Cajun or Lawrys or a little salt… the chicken salad sandwich is a full size not that half size box mess FULL size and has tomato’s white onion, romaine, lettuce black olives, shredded cheese I’d say mozz, banana peppers and crispy chicken… too much to eat at once and very very fresh and delicious… I even ate the olives I hate olives. I’ll be going back to try more foods and get some deserts oh and they have this 60/40 faygo drink it’s popular… 10/10...
