I ordered our food on doordash and got the ghost pepper chicken sandwich meal. And also the bacon burger meal I ordered the pomegranate lemonade drink. So I go to the drive-thru I tell them I have a pickup with my name they tell me to come up to the front window the gentleman comes to the window and says okay we have to make the ghost pepper chicken sandwich now. When my app on my door dash said that the food was already for pickup............ I thought that that was strange so I thought okay no big deal they have to make the sandwich cuz they wanted to make sure it was hot when we got there even though the app said the order was completed. So we sat there until they cook the sandwich and made both meals. But if you order on the doordash app and you give the lot of time for you to pick up the actual items. Why wait until somebody gets there when the item I have already been paid four I understand it was 9:30 ish at nightbut if someone has ordered that late and has paid for their items on the app already why not just have the items ready for when they get there. I understand the drinks because you don't want to let them sit there but you can give the drinks to them when they get there who knows some people might have changed their minds and what they wanted you never know I get that part. We had to sit there an extra 15 minutes for our food to get done before they walked it out to us and gave it to us there was two cars that came up behind me I don't know what they ordered but they went through the drive-thru and were gone before we were even done and I had ordered our food through the doordash app. I'm not a doordasher I'm just ordered my food through there because sometimes it's easier for pick up. The ghost pepper sandwich was amazing my daughter said she absolutely loved it. My burger was awesome. I'm just still not a big fan of Wendy's fries but I still ate them my daughter is not either but we still ate them. My only complaint is the time that we had to wait extra because we already ordered online. Oh I also got chili which I forgot the chili was different this time... It was not the same like it usually is it was more watery than usual and I love they're chili I don't know if because it was around the end of the night I have no idea but I was very disappointed in my chili. Other than that the food was great. But if somebody orders on an app the food should be done I'm not a doordasher I was just...
Read moreWent through the drive thru... ordered 4 of the maple bacon chicken croissants. Got up to the window fairly quickly as there was only one car ahead of me. Paid for the order and waited. Still waiting, waiting and finally got the order. As I drove away my son's were eager to taste the breakfast sandwich I had been singing its wonderfulness. My youngest said," it's just a chicken patty on a square croissant?" I said,"no, it has bacon and a sauce and is yummmm!!" So there was no bacon, no sauce and the chicken looked as though it had been bought on the McDonald's value menu, the McChicken. So I promptly pulled off and called the Wendy's. A woman answered the phone and I am not sure who she was, as she didn't talk as though she was in managment.. she was rude and accusatory with her rectification of the $3.99 each breakfast let down. I explained I had just left not even five minutes and what I had raved about to my family was not what was in our bag. She proceed to tell me she didn't know if I came through or not and she would have to have the receipt and the complete order returned. I then told her I was not given a receipt but I would be back in less than five minutes with the food. She then told me I didn't have to be so rude at which point I did get rude. So when I pulled up I gave her the food and my debit card requesting my money back. She said something to another employee and as she laughed the, rainbow braids, female gave me my card back and the receipt for a refund.... closed the window promptly and that was that. I will NEVER ever give this Wendy's my business!!! The home office should shut this one down until management are trained as amazingly as the Stuart Road, Paul Huff Parkway, and 25th street!!! Never have I ever gotten bad service, bad food or the wrong order at any Wendy's in Cleveland! Always being met with professionalism, great customer service and food which actually looked better than the pictures or atleast prepared with care as if they themselves were going to eat it. Wendy's on 2390 McGrady drive is not even one star.. solely because management has an attitude or no verbal skills and the ones preparing the food have been taught or given the impression less than perfect...
Read moreI've never been impressed with the personal customer service experience at this Wendy's location. It's always kind of cold... here's your food, now leave. Bye. Tuesday night, 10/29, I learned that the fish rotted from the head down.
The drive through was lined up, so I decided to go inside, there was no one in line, so great! Well, there was a grey-headed employee who was talking to a man at the counter. I understood that they were talking, so I could wait just a minute to put my order in. I waited... and waited... and waited... and I found out that this woman who was watching me just stand there for the last several minutes waiting to place my order was the MANAGER.
To make matters worse, this is what they were talking about... she was applying for another job. I heard her saying, "once I told them that I was a manager at Wendy's, they said 'Oh! you have customer service experience! That is great, you should fit right in!" The irony was just too much. She is standing here having a casual conversation about how good she is with customer service, and I'm sitting here starving and have yet to place my order. I found out that this other job's starting pay was about $12/hr. This guy she was talking to apparently had worked there before or maybe he does. I also found out that when she gets a job, she stays there. Oh good!
Eventually (probably 8 minutes or so after I walked in), another employee from the back noticed me waiting to place my order. I placed the order, and the order was filled pretty quickly, and the manager was still over there talking to this man. Never was I acknowledged by this manager. Never was I greeted by her. She deliberately ignored me. She wasn't just having an off-day. She seemed to be in a good mood about her new potential job. If I was the owner of this Wendy's I would be shocked that ANY of my employees represented me this way,...
