The Crab House — Restaurant in Clifton Heights

Treat yourself. Have dinner here. Start with a small bowl of gumbo and follow it up with any of their baskets or boils. I had a clam boil that featured plenty of tasty cherrystone sized clams dinner with a mild lemon pepper finish (I had a choice of 4 including a Cajun or garlic butter). Jill had the oyster basket (over which she raved) and accompanied it with a full order of onion rings. The basket included a serving of fries, but I found I preferred the onion rings to quiet the fire from the gumbo. We'll be back. There are a lot of other entrees for us to enjoy. And there's a Philly cheese steak spring roll that sounds really...

I'm not a big fan of ordering crabs by weight but the positive side to that is you get what you pay for. Too many times I've order crabs from other places.....large, extra large, etc. and the size of the crab was big but it was light. Here at The Crab House, you buy by the weight and that worked out perfectly. Nice atmosphere....a little chilly......but very clean and they have everything on the table you'll need to eat. We had quite a few different items but the fried shrimp were the showstopper! They were incredible. The crabs were good too. You can pick your seasoning and its level of hot. ...

Went here for my birthday , and have been coming ever since with the price of inflation I've been doing my seafood boils at home mostly. However, I still go buy my shrimp from here and make everything else also the sauce is an amazing blend of spices and seasonings . However I have noticed some skimping of the sauce in the bag. I still buy extra but still the amount in the bag should not change. With that being said love ECHO and love this atmosphere , we can always be ourselves and when I did have a mishap it was quickly resolved ....
