Ordered a large well-done Grandma’s Pie a few weeks ago on Sunday and it came burned to a charcoal crisp underneath and all around the edges. I called and the guy who picked up said that’s how a well-done pie is suppose to be and in the future that I shouldn’t ask for well-done. A week prior to that I had ordered a Margarita Pie, also well-done, and it was just the way it’s suppose to be, a nice golden crust, nothing burned. Either way that guy is arrogant and should learn how to handle customers in a customer service business. He seems mad that he left the pie in the oven for too long and it burned but did not want to admit his mistake. We still ate the decent portions of the pie because we waited a while and we were hungry. Stay away at all costs!

I ordered a Margarita Pizza and the bottom of the entire pizza was completely soggy and felt waterlogged. The bottom of the entire pizza box was also wet. I sent pictures to the restaurant and the owner told me it was "olive oil" when it wasn't greasy feeling at all. The owner also talked to me very aggressively from the start and yelled at me when I talked back to him in the same manner. He told me that is how he makes his pizza. I told him to send someone to pick it up so he can see for himself. The OWNER proceeded to tell me to "go f*** your self" and then hung up one me. NEVER AGAIN will I order from here again.

My clients were in the mood for Italian and picked from this restaurant. The order was called in, and I got the chicken marsala. At first they couldn't find the order but they found it and it was all good! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The food was ready, I paid and got help to the car. When I dug in the chicken marsala, the food was delicious! It was flavored to perfection! I had it with penne pasta, and that was a great choice. I enjoyed meal and all in all, it was a good experience!

Hands down, a WONDERFUL FOOD experience!!! I was in search of a local place in Clifton for a surprise party we were hosting at a local pool hall. I had never dined at Angelo's; I simply found them on the web. Right out of the gate, I was impressed with Angelo for taking the time to talk about his catering, his food and what we were looking for. The catering menu was terrific, offering a literal ton of choices. We hosted 40 people and the food was just LIGHTS OUT FANTASTIC. I ordered one of the Italian Catering packages which was perfect. Good spread of food with Chicken Franchisee, Penne Vodka, Eggplant Rollatini, Vegan pasta primavera and a garden salad. Bread, utensils, etc. all included. I must have had 20 folks ask me "Where did the food come from?" underscoring how awesome it was. Last note worth mentioning was Angelo's willingness to open his business early Sunday to have the food delivered by midday. He did so without hesitancy where I think most business would likely just turn you away. So if you're in the Clifton area and looking for some terrific food and a guy who truly puts his heart into his business, you should give...

Placed an order for 1 pizza on Grubhub. Their end of delivery time showed as 9:45, I ordered just after 9pm. They sent the notification that they received the order and it would arrive within 40-50 minutes between 10 and 10:10pm. After waiting over an hour and missing the estimated delivery time, I called the restaurant to check the status. Turns out they are a pizza shop that closes at 10pm on a Saturday night. Rather than contacting me when I placed the order to say they would not, or could not fulfill the order, they just took my money and didn't deliver my order. Now most restaurants in the area are closed when I could've ordered elsewhere had I been given notice.

Update: they delivered it about 50 minutes later. It was cold of course. After we heated it up, the pizza was actually very tasty. Like it was worth the wait. I would consider ordering from here again. Just not late Saturday night. They should just contact customers to say they'll be delayed due to orders, or traffic, or whatever. It's much more understandable than no communication at all and would...

Angelo, ARE YOU Still there? Sept/Oct 2021 My absolutely favorite pizza was your Grandma Pie! 5 stars! A very long time ago you were not able to be present at your business and WE noticed that you pie was not the pie that we loved. Then....you returned!!....and your great pizza was back once again. We were happy that you were well again and able to manage your business.

Now, in 2021 it has happened again! The last 2 Grandma pizza's we ordered were horrible. Nothing like the pie we so loved. The sauce was the same...but the pie was totally different. Which leads me to believe someone other than yourself is making those pies! Again...Angelo please return! I am afraid to try another Grandma Pie at Angelo's without checking to see IF YOU are actually making them. I may have to stop in and verify....Last time they told me you went for a walk!! We miss you! And hope you are well! And do not want to search for another pizza business that passes the test of what we considered the best darn pizza...
