I have gone to this bakery since they opened for their delicious breads, croissants, cookies, savory items, even fresh eggs from Pennsylvania. I love their variety and how fresh and delicious everything is. They really have a lot of great items to choose from. Recently, I ordered a custom cake for a party and it was the freshest and most delicious cake that I have ever had at any function in my life. It was a strawberry shortcake full sheet cake. The whipped cream was so delicious and fresh, the sponge was so tasty and airy, and the strawberries were clearly freshly cut and high quality. It was so so good!! Everyone loved it. I'm not usually a fan of cake, but this was amazing, and I would eat it every day. Literally the best cake I ever had! Not only that, but everyone was very helpful and accommodating with my requests. Paula went above and beyond with the decorations. It was a retirement party for my parents, and I wanted symbols that represented their very different occupations. Paula was very creative and my parents loved it. The price was also reasonable. I highly recommend this bakery for all your party and entertainment needs or just for a coffee or a treat. I’m so lucky to have them right in my...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars for this review, I would. My mother-in-law ordered a cake for her sister's birthday, which was supposed to be designed with butterflies and flowers with mocha in the middle. Though there were butterflies on sticks stuck inside the cake, the bakery missed the mark with flowers by a long shot. Upon arrival, not only did my mother-in-law have to wait an additional thirty minutes to receive the cake because they seemingly didn't have one ready for her, there were no flowers on the cake. Instead, my mother-in-law got dots to fill the empty space around the birthday writing, a crumb coat and no mocha filling. Since her sister's birthday was today, she accepted the cake without any in person complaints. Howbeit, we were all deeply disappointed in the presented cake. To add insult to injury, the bakery even tried to charge my mother-in-law EXTRA for the "decorating". A grocery store bakery could've done a better job with...
Read moreLook elsewhere. I ordered a pie over the phone to be picked up for Thanksgiving. Had a family member coming over with strict dietary restrictions who was hoping for a slice of sugar-free pumpkin pie. I was thrilled and grateful when this bakery said they would do it because no other bakery within 45 minutes would. It was pricy, but custom made, and I was grateful. A couple hours after we hung up, I received a call saying they would no longer make it unless I paid an extra 5 dollars. Seriously? Extorting a Thanksgiving pie? And over a measly five dollars too!? It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. I gave in and paid the extra five bucks, although I didn’t want to. Poor business strategy. I hope five dollars was worth losing a repeat customer.
The pie wasn’t...
