The service at this place was horrible and the staff was racist. My father and I absolutely love middle eastern cuisine and figured we'd do something different for Easter. When we got to the restaurant during lunch hour there wasn't a single person in the restaurant besides us. Having noticed this we figured we would get our food quickly and have excellent service. We were wrong. Our waitress immediately realized that we obviously weren't middle eastern and began to ask us where we were from and if we celebrated Easter. We replied to her yes. After that encounter things went down hill. It took 4 times of asking and 40min just get some water in our glasses and some pita on the table. Her attitude was anything but acceptable and it took an extremely long time for the food to come out. During this long waiting process some other people came in to dine who looked of some middle eastern decent and I noticed that they were seated right away and had waters and pita brought to them within five minutes of being seated. The waitresses attitude towards them was completely different. It was as if she was a different person. In the time it took the couple next to us to dine and leave we were still waiting for our food and all around us people who spoke Arabic and were of middle eastern background received far better service than us. On top of all of this the food here was only decent at best and I will never return. Just becuase we are Caucasian doesn't mean we should be treated any differently and just becuase anyone who eats here is middle eastern doesn't mean they should be treated any differently if they went to an American grille. People like this waitress add to the fuel of this on going hatred and racism in the world. Her nasty and rude attitude along with her perception of our ethnicity is absolutely unacceptable and...

Read moreLast night went out with my family for dinner. We were 4 women and 2 boys. As soon as we entered we requested a smoke free section because we had children who have asthma induced my smoke and another teen who is battling cancer. We were seated in the corner and there was one table of two men who were smoking hookah. So we asked for the opposite end of the room and also asked to crack open the windows for circulation. As the hour proceeded more male patrons entered and more smoking ensued. Service was really slow so we got our entrees very late. Of service was fast we probably would have beat all the smoke patrons. So finally we get our meals and the waiters are setting up a table next to us with hookah. I walked up to the waiters and informed him that the teen has cancer and the smoke is going to harm her. They scrambled to move the table but then their manager waved to them to continue setting up next to us. The patrons were seated and we had to rush through our meal so we could just leave at that point. As I was leaving and after I paid my bill with the automatic 18% gratuity = $30, I told them what they did was not nice and not fair. They just shrugged their shoulders. The waiter said the manager only cared about the money more than the care. Needless to say we will never be revisiting Sultans again. So shameful. Not Islamic at all. Throughly...
