1. The service was terrible. The waiters was rude and was in a hurry. The waitress never check to see if the customer want to order any additional food or drinks. I ordered “Baba ghanoush” while they bought our food to the table but my order was never placed or arrived. The lady who took our order only stopped twice first time we were seated/ordering. Second time when she put the plate on table. She didn’t even bother to ask if we want the check to pay. We waited 15-20 mins for our check after done with our food and hookah. I was charged tip of $9.36. Still can’t figure out the percentage. Not to mention that tips included was not listed anywhere on the menu. I typically tip 15% percent. I don’t think this service deserves any tips. Since the tips are applied automatically they waiters just don’t care. Also, I was told the hookah was $25 when I asked the priced. However my bill was $30. I guess automatic 5$ hidden tip. I also noticed there are tons on 1 -2 stars review and the staff/owners are very hostile with their reply. I am hope they don’t do that for this review. Instead they should train the waiters to be polite and provide basic services. I am giving 2 star because the food was average.

This place has the BEST family platter in terms of quantity, quality, and price. This has been my favorite Baterson restaurant for the past 4 years, I prefer it over Abu Rass and Darna (even Al Basha but only as a personal preference) because Taj CONSISTENTLY cooks and seasons all their food perfectly (their shish is ALWAYS tender-you can literally bite the lahma in half, their food is never dry and salty/bland(this is a Darna thing), and a bonus is that they have lamb chops in their family platter. We always get the lahma w hummus and the medium family platter ($75*) for 2-3.5 people (0.5 for a kid). It is disappointing that lots of people come here more for hookah than the food, so if you don't smoke or like hookah smoke, it's STILL okay to eat here because there's A LOT of open indoor/outdoor seating to choose from. I hate hookah smoke but I've only had an issue once when they were super busy and had no choice but to sit between some hookah tables. Their server, Nozha, is literally the best, she's super sweet and understanding. I hope I come back here soon.

Honestly I have been coming here for years one of my favorite spots when it comes to smoking hookah & the food here is beyond tasty. Also the music isn’t too loud and it’s a great environment to hang out with friends and family. Pros: - Smoothest Hookah you’ll ever smoke & it will hit 3+ hours (hookah worker is attentive and always comes around to change the coal regardless of how busy it is) - Food is very tasty, highly recommend the mixed grill & the grilled shrimp & if you have a big group you should get the Taj family plater more then enough for everyone. - The drinks & smoothies are amazing, one of the best mint lemonade you’ll have. - Interior & exterior is decorated to sooth your mind. - The servers and hostess are beyond friendly ( especially Carlos, literally makes me feel like home every time I’m there) - I’d also like to add that it’s a great spot to throw events. Will forever be coming here for birthday events and more. Thank you to all the Taj workers for an amazing experience every time.

We were seated very quickly, with a warm welcoming. It is one of the best and probably the hardest restaurant to match their customers service. Literally every single staff member treats you like family. Our server was so attentive, very patient, and quick with our orders. We didn't feel pressured or rushed. He came back to us after the 3rd the time with a smile and listened to everyones request. I love their appetizers menu. There was so much to choose from. We orders their wings(very juice and crispy) the grape leaves, and a bunch of many delicious apps, their drinks are to die for. My personal favorite is the lemon mint slushy. We were given samples of their delicious Arabic coffee, it was sooo good. For our entrees it only seemed appropriate to order the Taj platter, it gave us all a change to try their best of the best. The portions are so big, we couldn’t finish. But at last we had to save some room for dessert. My go to dessert is always kanafeh which was unbelievable delicious. I have tried it at so many other restaurants and NONE compare to their delicacy. Laziza’s cannot compare. It is the perfect temperature, not overwhelming sweet, just perfection. My mother who is not a sweet’s person, asked for 2 extra to go. We also received complementary desserts for the entire table, muhalabia to finish our meal. When it was time to pay, my jaw dropped, it is unbelievable how good their prices are, they included a 15% gratuity that didn’t match their amazing customer service. It was only fair to double the gratuity. I have never had such a pleasant and most perfect evening at a restaurant like we did today! You guys are amazing and i wish you the best, i hope other restaurants aspire to be as caring and dedicated as your team! Thank you for your at most caring service. May...

I found this restaurant by chance during my parents' visit because my other go-to restaurants were closed and let me tell you: I have tried almost every Lebanese restaurant in the area and, by far, Taj has the best Lebanese food we have had in terms of quality of ingredients, taste, authenticity, presentation, day-over-day consistency, and hospitality.

This is the only restaurant where hummus is made the right way and presented correctly. It's light, creamy and serviceable through pita scoops unlike the American-style thick grainy and dry paste.

The tabbouleh, my all time favorite dish, was astoundingly fresh, very zesty, and the burghul was mixed in and soaked properly so it's not raw and crunchy. And the best part? There were no noticeable parsley stems that I could find which indicates that they took the time to separate, stack, and cut the parsley rather than machine it or chop it through stem and leaf. The lemon juice was fresh, not bottled lemon juice. Simply amazing.

The mixed grill was great, but not as mindblowing as their other food. What makes it noteworthy though is that they serve you "toum" for that chicken. Ask any Lebanese person and they will tell you that this delicious and yet potent garlic sauce is a must when serving "shish tawouk" (chicken) but not many other restaurants here serve it.

The hospitality was true to what you would find at a traditional restaurant in Lebanon. I even brought my parents here and they were amazed by how similar the presentation, service, and taste was to restaurants in Lebanon. They did not want to leave. We ended up coming back here several times during their visit and I'll be...

So coming from someone who loves to give positive reviews I unfortunately have to give this place a low rating. My friends & I came here to celebrate a Bday. Food was good, nice touch w/hookah and it's byob all good stuff for us to enjoy our evening. The bill was split 3 ways with 2 of us paying w/our cc, and a tip was ALREADY ADDED by the restaurant. We all found the tip already included (about 18% of total bill) to be sufficient so we signed off and DID NOT include an addt'l tip on our cards. The next day as I'm driving home my friend contacted me about being charged an extra $10 on her card. I of course went to check my acct realizing the same exact Addt'l amount was charged to my card. I found this to be completely absurd, unprofessional and fraudulent. We both called the restaurant separately to inquire on the issue. Thankfully they did REFUND my friend her and my $10 (as I live hours away and was only up for the wknd).

To be clear, I've paid higher bills and left larger tips. I have no reason to deny offering an addt'l tip to a deserving server (being a past server myself). But, I don't appreciate someone adding an extra tip to my card as this is exactly what was done. Maybe the mgr or owner wasn't aware and that's understandable in an establishment which is why I appreciate the refund. But, it doesn't suppress how violated I felt when realizing this was done. So please keep the nasty response and understand that this happened and hopefully Never will again to another innocent patron just trying to have a good time w/friends.

I'd say go and enjoy...
