Main Memorial Park — Attraction in Clifton

Main Memorial Park is one of the largest, and definitely, the most scenic park in town. It is a multi purpose park, used by many; even out of out of towners come in to enjoy its amenities. It has a pair of jungle gyms, swings, slides, and even a small section for smaller children. Other features include numerous walking paths, a large pond with small fish in it, abundant bird life around it, and three beautiful water fountains in the middle. Also in the park there is a memorial to Clifton's wartime heroes, as well as a Little League Field and a small softball field. About 4 or 5 times a year, there are also flea markets held. There is also lots of shade, and a plethora of benches to relax upon. All told, this is one place to go for a great day...

The place is quite nice and peaceful. It's great for many things such as jugging, walking your dog, there is a school near it if you have kids and there is a cool tank next to one of the trees. It's great and you can touch and hang around it anytime you want. There is also two seconds of a park that is really fun and amazing to hang around. There also is bathrooms there, but there really dirty.there are also many beautiful animals there such as geese and turtles and a bunch of birds. I'll give it away 5 starts if this park had better and more comfortable benches. Seriously, whoever has gone to this park for enjoyong the view, has to seat on the field or on the grass because it's benches are made to hight ( i am 5'10") and my feets gets hanging up, my feet do not touch the floor (i mean that you can not seat well if you seat on this benches) Another reason benches are made in metal and the seat is very narrow, absolutely uncomfortable.
