Captain D's — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I had the pleasure of coming here to receive fantastic service and incredible food! I ate the Deluxe Seafood Platter, the Jalapeño Poppers, and the Grilled Shrimp. I was so excited to dig in, I forgot to take pictures! The Platter came with tasty green beans, creamy and cheesy mac & cheese, 2 pieces of batter dipped fish, 2 seafood stuffed crab shells, 6 butterfly shrimp, 2 hush puppies, and below all the fried seafood, there was a thick layer of fried batter pieces. Not only was all the food delicious with and without sauce, but you NEED to get mac & cheese with this meal! Add all those fried bits to it with some hot sauce if you want, and that is an incredibly delicious bite of food. The side items I got were equally tasty and I would definitely recommend the Poppers to anybody who wants some fried cheese with a kick. The food was not the only amazing part! The cashier lady that was working the afternoon shift today 05/13/2024 Was one of the most provocative person ever! Completely unprofessional and agitating. Rude! From the sec she spoke on that drive thru to the payment... You can tell she hates her job and wants to fight every customer who dares to show up! Just coz i asked for some sauce. She was already in bad mood/ attitude and it took asking for a sauce to drive her insane. This is not my first time having a bad experience here because of her and only HER! management.... Seriously.... management! What are you going to do about this person? How many bad reviews do you need to get about her ? I'm generally asking YOU the person in charge of this account ! I grew up in northeast Alabama where Captain D's have been in existence for years. I recall eating at Captain D's when I was in my teenage years and I'm in my mid 40s now. I have loved their food for years but missed its existence when I moved to this area for work. Captain D's chief fast food competitor seems to be Long John Silvers but the differences aren't even close. Captain D's has been so much better than LJS for as long as I remember. Its not even close. Go to Captain D's and then visit LJS and you can see for yourself. Captain D's has a wider variety of seafood, fresher food and my personal fav is I can add a sweet tea to it :). Having visited this Captain D's I witnessed a crew that was working hard and delivering a great product to customers.
