Carlo's Pizza — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I had ordered again since my last visit because I'm working in the area and the home owner buys us dinner if we work late and he swears by Carlo's pizza.. Well I must say this time around was a complete success, our last order was deep dish "my favorite" so this time we ordered a deep dish and a round... Well it was great, it took me straight to flavor town and into Stevie Wonder mode.. It was the round pizza, that pizza was the bomb, the crust was absolutely perfectly done it did not fold and kept it shape but was not over done.. The toppings where on point and had just the perfect amont.. All around superb pizza.. Thank you Carlo's my next order will be the ribs I hear so...

Ordered Chicago style and was not impressed. The cheese was rubbery even though it was hot and the pieces literally fell apart as I was trying to plate them because it wasn’t cut through. Also, the pizza was so wet and soggy! It was so soggy that the paper underneath was adhered to all the pieces of pizza. By the time I cut the pieces again, peeled the paper off, and served the slices, we were eating slop that tasted like pizza. It really is a shame because we were really hoping for the best and enjoyed reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it. We won’t be returning unless it’s free because I am not spending $25 on the same...

Well I used to come here often, but just ordered a Sicilian style with pepperoni, there wasn't any, called to let them know, no big deal so i thought, but then they first tried to question my intelligence by telling me that the pepperoni is under the cheese as if I didn't already know that. Guess what I checked and there is no pepperoni. Waited on hold for a while I finally gave up and hung up. Guess I just won't come back which is pretty sad because it's usually good. But how I was treated today its like I was just another sale and if that's the case I'll just hit little Ceasars. 1/3rd of the price and still get the same terrible...
