Kejsi brunch — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I am very disappointed with this place. I got here 11:50 and I got served at 1:40. They ran out of strawberry's and pistachios. The workers here were nice and our server was really nice . Because of the delay in time they took off all the drink on the bill which was nice. The place was pretty clean. They got my order for a latte wrong by not adding vanilla. My kids ordered a smoothie and the workers didn't give us it until 30 minutes later. It took about 1 hour and 30 mins to get our food. I know this place is new but they should be prepared and ready for a busy day. The food here was okay it wasn't great or anything and they gave you small portions of everything including drinks for a big price. Until this restaurant steps up their game I will not be coming here again. I saw other people getting upset about the wait. There were other people who came in 15 minutes after us and they got served first because they were related to a worker. They did not impress me. Small portions. This place isn't bad but I just think some things could change, I also think that they could've opened it later to be more prepared and ready. Late on food. Kejsi Brunch was absolutely incredible. We called ahead to let them know there were 20 of us coming in just five minutes, and they had a huge table set and ready when we walked in. The staff was so kind and welcoming.

Our drinks were always filled, the table was kept clean, and the service was fast and friendly the entire time. Every single person in our group loved their meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

They even surprised us with a complimentary tiramisu after learning we had just come from our grandfather’s funeral and were celebrating a birthday. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture that meant so much to all of us.

They also didn’t hesitate to split the check for everyone, which made things super easy.

First time trying this place, we notified our server that we don’t eat pork and if they could recommend something. They told us that the chicken is halal. So I ordered the chicken omelette and my wife ordered the Cajun shrimp. We asked if the uova in purgatorio is similar to Shakshuka, our server looked at us as if we were speaking another language… she said didn’t know what Shakshuka was… ok, that’s fine. My wife thought her Cajun shrimp was good. My chicken omelette on the other hand was the blandest thing I’ve had in a long time. What a shame!
