El Taco Dojo, my new favorite food stop. Craving some good street tacos, I followed the reviews here, and they did not disappoint. The food here is absolutely delicious! I've tried the chicken, steak, pulled pork, and grilled pork tacos so far; and I honestly can't pick a favorite, just sooooooooo good. Seriously, whether a burrito, Dojowrap, Taco, quesadilla, or a simple side of rice, you can't go wrong. I also need to add that I have a ridiculous amount of food allergies/sensitivities, and I'm so delighted to say that I had NO reactions at all after eating here. They did a fantastic job avoiding cross contamination by keeping their open kitchen work area clean, and visibly wearing gloves when handling any food. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it has a great vibe. I love the art on the walls. There is some indoor seating available, so you can dine-in or take out, and the parking lot has plenty of room. I will note that did not happen to see a public restroom available, but I also did not happen to ask either. I need to mention that the employees themselves are great! Patient while you make choices, offering suggestions if asked, helpful with making alterations for special diets, and overall just friendly, great guys. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because of the customer service. If I was leaving this review solely based off the food, it would be 2.5/3 stars - maybe. The gentlemen working there are amazing people. So bubbly and kind. They were very helpful, warm and welcoming. They are the type of people who remember your name and order and ask about your pops or your kid, ya know what I mean? The place was super clean and organized which was awesome! Cute little place with fantastic customer service. Paid 80$ for food and had high hopes. Man, were we disappointed. I wont get into crazy detail about the food because this was our opinion of the place, but to sum it up - the food had NO FLAVOR. The meat was just bland. We tried the Carne Asada, Carnitas(dry), shredded beef and Chorizo. Multiple people ate this food and not a single one of us thought, ' wow, this is good'. We also ordered the Tres Leches and that was a bit disappointing too. Overall, I would not go back. However, I do recommend giving this place a try!
