I have the DD App. I order from it all the time. I received an email and notification that it was "Free Coffee Wednesday". Cool! I go to this location order a few doughnuts and a coffee. I scan my loyalty card and for some reason they can't get the coffee to zero out with the coupon. I look around. It's a few signs up that say it's free coffee Wednesday. There are a few people in the drive-thru that got their coffee. I said ok well... I still want my coffee. The manager refused and then began to ignore me while he served the drive-thru. There were 3 other people working so he could have kept trying to assist me. He said it wasn't his problem and two people in line offered to pay for my coffee. I declined and ask to speak to his manager. I called his manager on my cell phone, put him on the phone and received my coffee. It took 25minutes, a debate, and a call to the GM of the store to get a free coffee... On free coffee Wednesday because your scanner wouldn't properly scan the coupon. I'm giving one star because of the way a situation like this was handled. I worked retail for 6 years and managed for 2. I always make my order the drive up within minutes to pick up the order. The girl with the septum ring at the window rudely said "next time you do am online order, fo it 10 mins in advance. You ordered lattes which take a long time to make" I made a last minute decision to make the order. You should never tell a customer something like that. She also can't make lattes and makes them wrong consistently. There are many times she uses the flavor shots instead of swirls and the lattes tastes atrocious. I told the man at the window and he charged me again for the additional items (he still had my card). Then, he hands me a bag with the wrong items again. I asked for the receipt. After reading the receipts (he handed me two) realized he charged me twice. Then, I went back in to request a refund. Dealing with that I get halfway down the road and my son says where is the bacon… they charged for two snacking bacons and didn’t give it to us. They said it was in the bag with omelet bits…. Nope.
