Sad to say I had an awful experience. We decided to try somewhere new for Mexican on our date night! Not such a great idea, I'll stick to where I know from now on, as the date got cut short and I ended up in (the bathroom) from food poisoning, Friday evening until Sunday morning! The environment was nice as was the staff, although the food ended up giving us a terrible experience... The service was very slow for 8pm on a Friday!?! Especially considering it wasn't very busy. The margaritas had VERY little alcohol in them, just mixer.. (So we both only had one, although my boyfriend ordered a second and it just never came! I couldn't even finish mine as it wasn't enjoyable drinking a mixer and ice!) My boyfriend got the tamales with pork, and loved them!! I saw a table next to us order the fajitas, and I LOVE fajitas, so I was dying to try theirs! (I ordered fajitas with chicken/steak.) The steak tasted great but the chicken was not right, I couldn't finish my chicken fajita and decided to pack them up, and my boyfriend stated it was probably just my own preference... While he was finishing his margarita, I started to get nauseous-after about 20 minutes of eating it. All of a sudden I got incredibly ill & ran out of there. Thank goodness we live only 5 minutes away! As I had to physically hold my hands over my mouth the entire ride home. I ended up getting physically sick no sooner did I open the car door. I was sick all evening, (as with chicken and shell fish it will hit you in about 20 - 30 minutes. ) I couldn't smell anything or eat anything but dry toast the rest of the weekend and we had to throw out all of of food for fear of my boyfriend getting food poisoning as well! Disappointed that $40 worth of food went down the toilet, literally. I'll stick to Taco Loco and Mexican Village, they're much more authentic and the service drinks and food, all together...

We ordered Beef & Chicken tacos as well as rice & refried beans. We also got fresh Tortilla chips & Guacamole. This was for a tiny H.S. Graduation dinner we had for my son & not knowing what everyone liked, we ordered the diced tomatoes & onion (for the tacos) on the side. The food was beyond amazing! The tacos were soooooo good! The rice was absolutely delish, just like my mother-in-law (from Guadalajara) used to make & I normally don't eat beans (although I always taste them) & the refried beans were the best I've ever had & I loved them! This review goes for my entire family, we were all raving about the food! The tacos were pretty much all gone but we had rice & beans for a couple days after! Each day tasted just as great as pick up day! I'd like to thank Paul for his professionalism & making suggestions as this was our first visit. He was so kind to help my husband & son load up the van. Excellent service! If we weren't impressed enough, a couple days later, Kevin called to ask if everything was satisfactory (I guess since we had a large order.) We were beyond thrilled we chose Juan Miguel's to be part of our son's celebration & from now on we have a new favorite Mexican restaurant! Thank you Paul & Kevin for caring! Unfortunately I didn't think to take pics before we started eating, but I got a few shots I will post! For those of you thinking of trying a new place, please give this restaurant a chance. You won't be sorry! You will have absolutely delicious Mexican food that my MIL used to make for her family! Best compliment I can give! We are ordering again next week for my birthday!...

In town for work. Yelped tacos near me for taco Tuesday and found a number of choices. Picked Juan Miguel and headed out. Large parking lot because business is in a strip mall so there are many other business establishments. We parked and headed in. We were greeted kindly and seated in a booth right away. The place was packed for 5pm for dinner. Our waitress Ingrid was prompt to welcome us and took our drink order. We ordered a liter of top shelf margaritas. Pleasantly surprised that they had casamigos tequila. I ordered the quesabria with rice and beans. My husband ordered tamales and a Southwest chicken quesadilla. Our drinks arrived and we were given chips and salsa. Shortly after our entrees arrived. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The manger Carley stopped by to check on us. We told her how wonderful our meal was and that Ingrid was taking great care of us. Being from out of town and having so many options we were happy we chose Juan Miguel. She asked if we had the soup. Unfortunately we did not but she insisted we should but since we had our meal already done she gave us a soup to go. It was extremely sweet and we planned on trying it when we got back to the hotel. We were finishing our last glass of our Margaritas and Kevin, the owner, stopped by to see how our meal was. I was so happy he stopped by so we could provide him with how pleasant the establishment was, how the staff was super friendly and how fragy the food was. Definitely a place to be if you are in the area. Bill was around $119.00 without tip. Definitely a great price for the food and service received....

Everyone who likes Mexican food needs to experience this restaurant. The service, the food, the setting and ambience, everything is top notch. Always friendly and hospitable, I was especially pleased to have met the owner who greeted and sat us at our table; love his commitment. He was on his toes the entire time and managing his staff respect and expediency. We’ve been here twice and we liked some dishes more than others. The nachos are swiftly brought to your table with some tasty and fresh salsa. The nachos are crisp, warm and taste fresh. The winner is definitely the fajita platter. Ample for up to three people who’re big eaters. If ordering for two, be prepared to ask for a box. Chicken and beef and well seasoned and cooked well. The vegetables are fresh and everything comes together nicely. We felt that the pizza tasted more generic, like a chain-based version; it lacked depth and things just seemed to have been thrown on top of it, including the cheese which was slathered on top in abundance masking any flavors that were supposed to be there. The trio of tostada, burrito and enchilada failed to impress. The ground beef filling was bland but the soft corn shell tortillas were nice. There wasn’t much else to write home about. Black beans and spiced rice are better than what your standard restaurants would serve. Desserts are creative and tasty, including the deep fried ice cream. They’re huge and one can easily be shared between two people. Overall, 5-stars for the service, menu and quality of food. The taste profile can be improved on a few items, but that’s just an opinion.

Trying places near the old homestead now. Was jonesing for Mexican food (on a taco Tuesday? I'm shocked) and found Juan's. The service is insanely quick. The door hadn't even closed behind me before I was greeted. It took about three seconds for the server to head towards my destination for the next 45 minutes. Chips & salsa arrived with Madison about 20 seconds later. Chips were fine, nothing special, and a touch greasy in spots. The standard salsa has good flavor if no heat. Asked and received for hotter. It was a step in the right direction but a long way from the destination I desired. Medium at best. Madison enquired if I had been in previously and offered a sample of the chicken tortilla soup when I responded in the negative. It was killer. Had it been colder outside, I'd have had a few bowls of that. Ordered the enchiladas, chicken today. I have never had an order show up so quickly in my life. Fast-food drive-thrus wish they could do things this fast. Hand on heart: my food was in front of me 3 minutes after I said what I wanted. Maximum 3 minutes. The refritos & rice were good, the enchiladas excellent, moist, tender & hot. Madison, unlike most servers, did NOT talk to me when my mouth was full (👍🏼🥰 ) but did check in several times. I do wish the music had been quieter and maybe not so stereotypically Mexican (yes, I realize how that sounds). I love Mexican food but not that brassy Mexican music. With tax my bill was just under $15. I'm glad to have found another good spot near home.

Update March 2 2025 7pm Still good food customer service and peach Margaritas! I had the stuff Chili Renao or something like that I might be spelling it wrong but it's stuffed peppers with ground beef smothered and cheese red beans and rice I always get extra sour cream. Is so good. Had another peach margarita frozen with the sugar rim excellent! Highly recommend you coming by and enjoying you some good authentic Mexican food. Updated for November 3rd 2023 same excellent customer service and the peach Margarita was delicious I highly recommend you guys give this place a try. Sorry the picture is of have eaten food but presentation of my food WAS awesome. The gauc with onions I think chopped tomato and chips was very good and fresh. The peach margarita with a sugar rim was delicious. My favorite meal is the the large stuffed chilies with ground beef, cheese and all kinds of yummy goodness are my favorite. The rice and beans are good too. Not to be glossed over the staff is EXCELLENT! Everytime I have eaten here I have enjoyed it. Last but not least the manger is on point and very nice. I like that every so often he walks around the whole restaurant and check on you. Highly recommend eating her.
