Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Clinton Township

My first time here (I'm new to the area) so I'm not exactly certain what to expect. The woman at the register greeted me immediately & was pleasant. And my order came fairly quickly. The interior is pretty typical of a fast-food style restaurant: mostly fixed booths with some accessible tables & chairs. Loving a steak & cheese sandwich, I ordered the mushroom steak & cheese. I got it to go and made the 5 minute drive home. It was just warm when I got there so I had to pop it into the nuke-o-matic for about 40 seconds to get it to a decent temp. Leave it in the paper & the bread won't dry out. The amount of cheese I found quite light. Wasn't expecting tomato in there either but it worked. (Edit: my third time in, second with this sandwich and it still needs more cheese, quite a bit more. And lose the 'tomater') I'll be going back to try some other choices and will...

Sam, the cashier there, accidentally charged me 200 dollars for a 17 dollar meal. Then when I noticed the charge I called immediately. Sam was there to answer the phone. She was extremely rude about it, acted as though it was my own fault, and did not even apologize at all. She then informed me that in order to receive my 200 dollars they accidentally charged me, I would have to drive to the store. No credit card refund possible. And if that wasn’t enough, they also acted as if this is a regular occurrence, and no big deal. I wonder how many other people Sam will do this to, and how many times has she already done this? Changing from a 5 to 1 star. The food is great, although very expensive. The reason for the one star is because they always forget something. It happens every time. They forget to give the ranch dip and famous dressing on the side. It’s hard to find them at the bottom of the bag, and they say, oh yeah it’s in there. It’s terribly disappointing and once or twice , I get it , happens, but it happens every time. We put the dressing on the side on our subs so they stay dry. But imagine getting home with a dry sub and there’s no dressing on the side or ranch dip for the fries. What’s the point at that rate? So have have to change a 5...
