Despite having a crew of over six workers (that was viable, more could have been in the grill or office); the wait to even get someone to realize that people where lined up waiting to order inside was ridiculous. The other customers even tested if the screen by the registers was a kiosk or if other screens are actually; because even though the staff saw the groups waiting, it seemed like they expected us to have figured out that something was self ordering. After 30 mins, finally an employee probably realized that we and the others lined up to order inside weren't leaving; so finally someone did something to the register so an employee can actually take our order. Now, to actually getting your order. Despite your receipt having a number on it saying what your order number is, that number is useless because they have no idea what order is which number and they don't call out that number when placing a bag on the pickup table. Bags also don't have your number on them either. This was problematic because a group of people are crowded by the pick-up area and no one knows who's order is who's. A person picking up an order for DoorDash (or something like it) pointed out to staff that they were waiting so long for the order that the app was asking if they ever picked it up or wanted to cancel, because it noticed that they were waiting there so long. The employees hadn't even had any of that order ready it seemed; mind you, this guy was there before I even got to place my order. It's not exactly the fault of the staff that the delivery person forgot to mention that the order has drinks, but you would think it wouldn't have taken the staff a few minutes after handing the bag with the order... to remember the drinks and also realize that the delivery person left. In the end I did get my order but it was pretty obvious that the employees are extremely scatter brainined. Considering that they thought they messed up part of my order of a kids 4pc nuggets when in reality it was the correct order for the person with kids that ordered a 10pc nuggets after me; however the employee was already "fixing the mistake" before the person can say anything. The pickup issues could have easily been fixed if the employees actually called out the number associated with an order, instead of just wordless putting it on the pickup table; ESPECIALLY since the soda machine is on the other side of the store and your back is turned away from the pickup area when useing it. (Which is how I and others didn't realize that our order was put out.... Besides the employees not saying what bagged order they where putting down or if the order was completed.) in other fastfood places, they might put a bag down but once the whole order is together, they will call out the order number or something... the staff here did not and just expected you to know. There where big screens, which I would assume might have said if your order is out but those screens were blacked out and/or off (those are probably the breakfast menu screens. I've never been to this Wendy's before.)
The only saving grace of this experience is that the food actually...
Read moreThis is the worst fast food restaurant! I am forced to give 1 star because they don’t offer 0. I have stopped going to this location because the last 6 times we’ve ordered from here, they have not had the items we have ordered. We paid them and then they told us they are out of the items. When asked for a refund, they tell us that they cannot give our money back, but they will give a substitution. The substitution is always cheaper than what I actually paid for. I understand that restaurants run out of things once in a while. But every time we go there, the machines are down or they’re out of something. The final straw for my family was when we ordered from the Wendy’s rewards app. We ordered food and were able to use a five dollar discount. That’s why I have the app, for the offers. But the app isn’t trustworthy. If they don’t have your item for whatever their pathetic excuse is, they will refuse to refund your money. There is a “cancel order” portion on the app but by the time they say they don’t have your complete order, it’s too late for the app to process this option. This makes this option impossible to stop the order and refunded for the items you are not receiving. I see this as theft. We go to pick up our order and they tell us they don’t have half the items ordered. We told them this is ridiculous and unacceptable! We want our money back for the products which we never recieved! At that point the money had already been taken out of our account. We wanted our money back and their response was that there is nothing they could do about that. We would have to contact their service center. At that point that center is closed because it was around 8:15-8:20 pm and they close at 8pm. Also they are closed for the weekend. Since September 9, 2024 this store still owes me $43.50 for my order!! It has been three weeks and not one person has contacted me about this issue, though on that following Monday My husband made a complaint. He was told that they would contact me within 24 to 48 hours. I feel like that’s how long it should’ve taken to refund our money back into our bank account. We disputed the charges with our bank and they are still not cleared by Wendy’s. I received no food from this restaurant and they are still not giving my family our money back!!!! Service is a joke both in store and online. I feel like this store stole from my family. They didn’t give me any food but yet are not resolving this issue. We left straight from the store and went to a different location in Warren. That Wendy’s had everything so we ordered from them. Their customer service was great and their food was hot. Unlike when I go to this store every time we get food, it’s cold and stale. Literally the worst Wendy’s I have ever went to in my life. This store is about five minutes away from my home and I will never go to that location again. It’s worth the drive to go to a different location that’s further away! Hey Wendy’s! I still want my $43.50 for the products I...
Read moreYeah, It's pretty bad.. usually I doordash around nighttime and keep getting orders from this place. This is how it works... maybe after 11pm, they stop all orders that's not mobile or dash, then when you get up to the window, they pull you forward to make their drive thru times looks good I'm sure, All the while there's no one in line, and you end up waiting 30+ minutes.
I actually sat there one night for 49 minutes for a 20 piece nugget, and the guy that brought it out looked sooo confused, high, nonchalant, angry, and annoyed.
Typically the night crew has no real leadership. I suspect the "manager" at night is in on the shenanigans because how someone is allowed to pay for food, and wait 30+ minutes and I'm the only dasher or customer at the store is crazy.
Some of the night girls always try flirting, or on the phone. Awhile ago they had a decent manager hear that kept the night boyz in line.. I think she's gone sadly..
There is hope for this place! The regional management needs to come out and audit the night crew. Run a few shifts.. I'd recommend calling their corporate offices and region management to complain. The one star reviews are catching up with the 5 stars which is remarkable!
Please.. doordash won't be enough to keep the place afloat if sales keep decreasing. Wipe the night staff with folks that care. Numbers go up, people are happy, and money is made.
Also.. the brownskin girl at the window with the glasses that enjoyed my honk if you're horny sticker on my car, probably the only one there with an ounce of humor and compassion. Just a little though. Nice...
