Understanding that this is a New Franchise that just opened, I've given them a wide berth regarding their first week. However, despite being an avid fan of BK, I'm not liking the Service thus far.
OPENING WEEK: Trip 1: Cluster. Despite the managers they brought in/on they couldn't seem to figure out that with two lanes the filter for correct order should be the pay window, which should que the delivery window of the customer stack. This ain't Cosmic. Instead they were using a name system, which in theory works if you actually ask for a name. They didn't. Instead I was asked to redo my order at the pay window. Being retired military I asked them if they did a Military discount, they said sorry we don't. Unless something changed, Burger King has a running contract on military bases globally. Part of that contract is to ensure every chain franchise offers the Military Discount. Whatever, didn't make a big deal of it. They still screwed up the order with drink sizes. Mea Culpa. Food was great and one of the few BKs that doesn't drown Burgers in Mayonnaise! Small Victories!
Trip 2. Not bad, backed up Lanes, seemed to got the order que and name game down, so reasonable wait in the drive through. Having done parking plans myself I understand the frustrations of the parking lot vs the drive-thru lane. But they did the best they could to maximize spots with available real estate. It is smarter to park outside of the parking if you want to order-in or carry out so you don't get stuck. They tried, I get it. Food was great.
Trip 3 (Tonight Approx 1830/6:30 PM, 26 Sept 2021) Waited 10 minutes in line with zero movement counting ourselves there were 4 carloads of people who left out of frustration. Went to Sonic which is Amazing, usually. Good thing about the BK parking is they allowed for enough room to escape before their menu order boards.
Sidebar: I noticed traffic backed up everytime I've driven by, so the popularity is there, however if the throughput is always at a standstill then this place will crash faster than Brown's BBQ in their sad attempt at redemption or say Joe Biden's Popularity any given election or rally or nap...

Read moreI've always loved the King 👑! It was my second job as a teen. I eat at the one in my home town often. But..this one way better then ours. Food was really good. This is always a good thing when a sister facility can out shine a local favorite for yourself. I almost always get the chicken fingers meal. As I did tonight.. Just don't ask for chicken *ks..I have a full back story on that one 🤦🏼♂️ To sum it up they came on speaker just as my fiance and I made a joke 🤷🏼♂️ The guy at the window was laughing,how ever the kid in the background with the headset on was not 🤦🏼♂️ Back to tonight now,the chicken fingers were warm and crisp,the fries were warm all the way through and not greasy. All sodas we got as a group were in stock. Plenty of ice to go around,and clean restrooms. I did give it a 4 star due to actual cleanliness of the dinning area. It looked like a group of 5 year olds with no hands had a feast in there! Not a single table clean..or the floor. However there was only a few people in dining, the drive through was wrapped around the store. When we asked for a cleaning cloth to wipe our table down ,we got given a blue paper cloth ,and it was as dry as a cat's mouth in the desert! That's when I found out the restroom was clean though 🤷🏼♂️ It was clean enough to dampen our shop cloth ,and get to work! I wiped and dried with napkins. We had a great meal and some good laughs. Then their dinning area started to fill up. So it seems as though this place is not only a favorite for me ,but locals too. So if you go to your googler and type in Burger King near Clinton mo,. let the googles do its thing and show you to the king! They have shakes and a mazing chocolate pie 🤤! So you don't have to run the the queen after visiting the King 🤷🏼♂️ So get your googling...
Read moreWent threw the drive thru, and had to announce what I wanted 3 times. Got told it was $24 which was correct. Got up to the window and they “lost” the order and didn’t have it anymore. The woman at the window did not know how to add an order and needed two additional employees to help her. It was apparent the same woman who came to get our order again was the same who took it, because she asked 3-5 times what we would like. She fixed the order and had already had my debit card and just swiped it. Upon receiving the receipt, I noticed it to be $30. I pulled forward to the next window and questioned the price. She explained they added an additional chicken sandwich on accident. She handed me $5 and some change and said she was sorry.
After pulling out of the drive thru after almost 25 minutes, I opened the bag too see 2 different types of chicken sandwiches in different bags.
Keep in mind this order was VERY simple. 3 original chicken sandwiches, add cheese and a coke, fries and onion rings.
I received 1 original chicken sandwich and 2 of their newer limited time chicken sandwiches.
The food tastes fine, just appears to be a management issue. But this experience...
