This place has some great potential. The staff seemed on point, wanting to help and make a good experience for the customer. No language barrier when trying to order which is always nice.

I got Polllo Mole and my wife got Enchiladas de Pollo. The mole was so close to 5 star. Just need a little tweaking. Maybe more heat? Some peanut butter?

The enchiladas were quite good, though we got green sauce instead of the red ordered and the green was at the top of the spice level for my wife. Almost lost out on the meal.

both meals came with rice and beans. The refried beans were awesome. The rice was white rice, not Mexican rice, though it did seem like they tried to season it up a bit.

They gave a small container of hot sauce with the order which I loved. A little garlic kick to it. Possibly the same sauce in the enchiladas? Tough to tell with all the other flavors in the enchilada.

Last point, if you offer Mexican take out, it should come with a small order of chips and salsa, as a rule. One order per 2 entrees is fine but that's a huge piece of the Mexican dining experience. I want to have a couple chips and the places salsa to get a feel for the joint.

I know people say that this is authentic Mexican food but in my humble opinion, it is not. It was like going to Subway. I ordered a burrito and it was cold not to mention that almost anything you want added comes with a price. I was not happy with it. I normally give really good reviews to places that deserve it. This is the best little authentic Mexican food joint around. Traditional as it gets. Their tacos are amazing, delicious burritos, house made pepper sauces and many entrees too. Simple dinner style seating area but full service is offered. I'd like to grab a beer here but unfortunately they do not serve alcohol yet but I will not let that fact detract from my 5 start rating, just get take out if you want to drink that bad.
