Nani’s Pizza — Restaurant in Clinton

I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered through Grubhub and ordered the 4 cheese pizza. We were sent an ALL cheese pizza with literally zero red sauce on it, and instead, Alfredo sauce…. We called to ask what’s going on, assuming it was a mixup.

The first guy my husband spoke to was fine and offered to make us a cheese pizza (with red sauce…the standard). The first guy then called back all panicked saying the owner was going to charge us for this. My husband asked to talk to him and the owner was SO rude. He said we’ll have to pay for a new pizza and that was what the cheese pizza is - it has 4 cheeses and ALFREDO sauce…?! Like what? That isn’t stated anywhere online (see screenshots). They even have a separate pizza called an “Alfredo Pizza” so I know he’s full of it. And that’s not what anyone would expect when ordering a cheese pizza anyways! He said he’d have to charge us and basically tried to blame Grubhub and said “well there’s also no way for us to list just a cheese pizza on Grubhub..”. Really? Because we’ve ordered from various restaurants on Grubhub, ordered a cheese pizza, and received a normal cheese pizza! My husband said there’s no way we’re paying for it because they can’t figure out how to add descriptions or list it correctly online. The guy was pissed and hung up.

This was the most confusing, baffling, rude experience! Don’t waste your time here! They are incredibly rude and won’t own up to their own mistakes, and honestly have no idea what they’re doing! Go to any of the other pizza places in town - they’re better priced than Nani’s too! Mr. Zs cost under $15 for a large cheese and it’s really good! We decided to try somewhere different and are regretting...

I’m not sure what all these high stars are from? Friends and family maybe? Fellow church members? I made the mistake of giving this place a shot even though I had received menus in my mailbox and thinking, that’s not how pizzas should look. For the first time I ordered the Alfredo calzone and a Greek salad. The Greek salad was ok but the chicken wasn’t the greatest cut and I had to spit pieces out. I took 3 bites of the calzone and threw the rest out. Too much or too little of something in the cheese wasn’t right. I dipped in the sauce which wasn’t much better. The sauce should be a bit sweet, but the whole combination was just way too much acid. Just gross. I would imagine the pizzas would probably be just as disappointing. There are so many sub shops and food shops in that tiny area I don’t understand why these places operate like this. Just sell what you make well. Don’t sell food you don’t know how...

Place was nice, a bunch of ceiling stains. The service was abysmal, slow as hell. The guy taking my order in person couldn’t navigate the POS system. Regardless of how clearly I was speaking, he continued to repeat my order wrong. After almost a 50min wait for our food I took it home. My daughter’s tuna had no mayo (even though I had ordered it with extra) my son’s cheese pizza was over cooked and my veggie pizza was wet and soggy. Absolutely will not return, just ripped up the menu I received in the mail. WOULD NOT...
