Awful experience. After waiting almost 20 minutes in the drive through, I was cut off in the middle of my order and told to just order at the window. Had I done that I would've been waiting an extra 20 minutes for my food to cook. At that point I waited for 7 more minutes before coming inside. Once there, I was told some bit of machinery had gone down, causing long waits. I ended up waiting 20 more minutes(and counting). I spoke to a manager who offered a sincere apology but made no move to remedy the situation. Once my order had been placed, I went outside to have a cigarette. By the time it was done, I expected my three item order to be finished. 10 more minutes later and no, it still was not. As I was sitting at the counter, the drive through attendant was hosing off something behind the counter, and proceeded to heavily spray myself and two other patrons with hose water. I'll be coming back, not to eat the food but to see if my review leads to any significant changes in the way things are done here. The cars that were still behind me almost an hour later are still in line. Absolutely unacceptable Either pay your employees well enough so you don't have shortage, or keep your food prep items in great condition to stop this from happening again. Read moreBeyond rude! There was a manager there at one time, a red headed polite man. I haven't seen him in awhile and it definitely shows in the staff and quality of the food. I waited in an extremely long line this evening to order, I pull up, and there isn't anyone talking so I waited patiently. An employee comes over the speaker and asked if I'm ready rather rudely, I replied with yes ma'am I am and the employee replied back, "Well you pulled up to the box and when I asked you what you wanted you didn't say anything so what do you want." This kind of service is unacceptable in any establishment much less a restaurant. I don't what happened to the redheaded gentleman that usually is there when service and food are the best, but he definitely needs to be there. When I see him my food is always correct it's good and the service is extremely professional and polite. I know that my spending at Zaxbys will no longer be happening at least here in Clinton. So I called and tried to explain the manger wanted to argue with me and tell me I was wrong because she bagged my food. If a manger had bagged my food the whole Order would not have been wrong . I’m not ever the person to call and complain because I have worked in restaurant business for 3 years. Only offered to replace my salad. Asked for extra sauce. Didn’t give it to us. When I tried to explain the manger kept interrupting still continued to tell me I was wrong. So I told her not to worry about it and have a great rest of her night.
