Clive Public Library — Attraction in Clive

Overall I feel this is a great library but out of all of the libraries I have been to this is by far the loudest. As a student this is extremely distracting when reading and completing assignments. The scanners are set very loud as well. Even when I sit at the very back of the library scan still hear them. People don’t really seem to care of want to be mindful of at least trying to keep their voices down. I also have prices that there are several individuals that come to the library often and will roam around looking into computer and laptop screens. Regardless of this being a public place this is still an invasion of privacy. The one time I asked for assistance with scanning an item to my email, I was given a guest card, shown instructions on a sheet, and left to work through the process only to discover that the computer was only set to scan to the public computer (which I was clear on not wanting to do). When leaving to go to a different library then the staff wanted to assist me. Some of the staff are extremely nosy and will walk behind me to look into my laptop as well. Most of the staff are polite. No hard feelings I am just looking forward to not needing to come...

Child review - the library makes me happy because there are lots of books that teach me stuff and I like learning. In the kid's section there is a bunch of books about going on adventures.
