Jaws Topokki Closter (죠스 떡볶이) — Restaurant in Closter

Stopped by today with my brother and we tried a little bit of everything and we both immediately agreed that this place was wonderful.

Tried the Cheese Topoki, the Donkatsu, Baerun Gimbap, Sundae, and the medium fry set. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious and clean. Nothing was heavy or muddled. Flavors were outstanding and the service was absolutely impeccable. They gave us a Mac and Cheese app to try which was super unique and delicious.

Front of house was absolutely killing it. We watched as he took care of every customer with care and efficiency. He was incredibly welcoming and just really made our experience that much better. Definitely going here again for the delicious food and...

Putting a 1 star hoping the owner sees this as that's the only way to get people's attention these days. Should be 5 star but the quality absolutely tanked in the last couple of weeks as the owner transitioned out of daily management and started hiring people. Understandable, but he should know that the food just gets worse if he is not around. The ddukbokki tasted like tap water, the kimbap was split open twice in a row, etc. I was hoping to be able to keep coming here as it was excellent the first few weeks, but it's already spiraling down in quality.
