Certain individuals leaving reviews- have clearly never worked in the service industry and recently opened business at that. I certainly have and know when a review is supposed to be left. This is clearly a specialty coffee shop that prepares matcha the CORRECT way and also recently opened business that is working out a few things(new staff, learning to make workflow better, etc.) You have to be prepared to wait whether you order pick up or in store. If you want a cheap and quick matcha latte, make it yourself or go to dunkin. BUT by all means the quality, taste and preparation will be entirely different. And as for the price? The best matcha I have had since I was in Kyoto six months ago. I have been to all sorts of japanese matcha shops in New York and the tri state area since then. I’m pretty picky about my matcha, and this place exceeded my expectations. I picked the only option that was available to me when I ordered the iced oat cloud matcha latte. A perfect balance of umami, sweetness, and acridity. From the first sip I was impressed. It was the only thing I ordered, so i cannot attest to their hot drinks or pastries, but I will be back to try it all tomorrow and will update. Not to mention, the staff was very friendly and clearly knew their stuff. Regarding the negative reviews, you notice how no one is saying the matcha isn’t good? Sure it’s a little expensive? But what do you expect when it’s imported? Plus tariffs and the matcha shortage. Please go try this place....

I accidentally came across this place on Google Maps while searching for a unique dessert, and it has instantly become my new favorite. While matcha has become a popular trend recently, most places require a trip to New York to experience a true variety yet this café offers it all. Their in depth descriptions of each matcha type, along with their genuine respect and craftsmanship toward the ingredient, are truly impressive.
