The staff is always very nice, however today I was pretty disappointed in their protocols. We order some sandwiches over the phone and when we showed up to pick up the sandwiches we were notified that they didn’t have the bread we had originally requested. So they took it apon their selves to choose the bread I would end up paying for. I would imagine if you order something from a restaurant and let’s say your order beef chow mein and they didn’t have it so they say screw it im sure chicken would be fine. It’s a sandwich I get it but it takes all of five minutes to make a sandwich so I would have rather showed up waited to have a sandwich made on the bread of my choice. This sounds silly but when I’m paying 27$ for 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries I do expect a bit more. I hope this is a learning experience for whom ever took our order and made the call to just make an educated guess on the bread I would like. If this was a 7-8$ sandwich it would be a different story. I’m willing to give them another shot as I have been going here for over 14 years and never had an issue. Happy Holidays and please take this as...
Read moreI grew up in Cloverdale as a kid in the late 80's l loved going to eagles sports world and to the eagles nest it was a great place. I don't know what that last guy who posted a good review is on but it was completely horrible worst lunch we have ever had. 17 dollars for a patty melt no flavor except grease and onion.and the thickest rubbery cheese that i have ever had. French fries no salt turk sandwich with a drop of mustard and mayonnaise and inch thick onions one thin slice pickle no salt or pepper or tomato or lettuce. The sandwiches where supposed to have the works on them The other 2 sandwiches worse.. We didn't even eat them. Went to the new deli and got sandwiches after spending 60 dollars at the eagles nest. Some advice eagles nest owners add salt and pepper and when a customer says the works make them a...
Read moreBusy little deli down town. Stopped in for two sandwiches, 1 roast beef w/cheddar and the other pastrami with Swiss. The service was good, the atmosphere colloquial and friendly. Sadly neither sandwiches had the cheeses I ordered and the pastrami was past thin, it had wholes in it because it couldn’t be sliced any thinner. It appeared like one extremely thin piece of pastrami folded over into half. 2-3 inches of bread with little meat and zero cheese. Potato salad was tasty. I paid $55.00 for two sandwiches and two 8 oz of salad. That included 20% tip of $7.00. Fed my dog most...
