Papa's Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in Cloverdale

Have been here a few times and have eaten in both the outside dining area and inside and always have a great experience with family or friends. Simply very casual place to have a great meal. Pretty quick service is a little bit confusing having table numbers already set because I've never know if I just sit down and they bring me the food or I give them a number so that has never really been explained clearly to me but they always remember what you had so obviously it works. Also have a pretty good local beer and wine selection but the last time I went two of the beers I ordered on the menu were out of stock and I wish they told me that before I paid and felt like I was forced to choose something I didn't really want. Definitely very good atmosphere of a family-friendly but still classic and modern pizza place parking is super easy since it's right downtown and they have some parking in the back as well. Really good Pizza. Simple mozzarella only topping, sauce is thin with fresh tomato and tasty, not your ketchup.sauce. Pizza outer edge is swollen but it is not crusty or crunchy. It remains soft despite its' appearance. The bottom crust is not able to hold the weight of the pure mozzarella but it is not soggy as to immediately drop the toppings. The small pizza is more than enough for two average adults. The salad is huge and fresh. Unfortunately, their vinaigrette salad.dressing tasted weird but they have alternative options like Italian. I skipped breakfast and came hungry for lunch. I was stuffed after 1/2 of the small garden salad and.2 slices (1/4) of the small pizza. If you are driving through here like I was, you will be happy to know this is a safe place to stop with their PD office across the street. I, order a pizza to be delivered at 8 p.m. but I called at 5:45 to change that because the kids we're hungry they said it would be an hour. But as it became an hour and 15 hour and a half still no pizza they called me and said I wasn't home at my address apartment number 10 which is my apartment is number 6 and I've had a couple pizzas delivered their prior to that.
