Just visited and ordered Oysters Rockefeller, Oysters on the Half Shell, Crawfish 5lbs with mushrooms, butter and spicy. Giving an honest review considering its brand new, they haven't quite figured it out. Spent $150 and gave feedback to the manager, oysters too salty not rinsed, Rockefeller not broiled or grilled it was lukewarm cheese not even melted or even charred. The crawfish...no seasoning in the boil, all overly salty and chunky herbed butter on top. The herbed butter was so strong. Wasn't able to suck the heads at all. The dining room was nice and the service was great. Manager didn't offer to doscount anything off, but we did have to go somewhere else to eat dinner. He was super nice and apologized and admitted they were new. Will wait awhile to see the progress, but first impression is they are trying too hard to be great and unique right off the bat. Fed my mom an old steak said it was on sale. Charged $24.99 for four stuffed jalapeno poppers, try to scam my husband of crab legs. Was gonna charge him $39.99 for half a pound. When we said something they played innocent saying "oh my bad we got it wrong its supposed to be $39.99 per pound." Then brought him his other half. Charged my mom $14 for a baked potato and three shrimp after taking the steak away. They have upped their prices significantly and they are ROBBING YOU for crap mediocre food. Used to be very good but the last few times me and family been there its gone down significantly. Over priced as heck and they are very scammy. Shame on y'all for feeding my mom an old steak!!!! Oceanica Seafood was absolutely amazing! We had the crawfish, the steak, and even a shrimp brochette — everything was cooked to perfection. The crawfish was full of flavor and seasoned just right, the steak was tender and juicy, and the shrimp brochette was delicious with a perfect grilled taste.

The service was great, and the atmosphere had a nice coastal vibe that made the whole experience even better. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they take pride in their food.
