Was a customer for years upon years. NO MORE. A recent problem changed all that. It was because of a misunderstanding but instead of remaking the dish or replacing it with one prepared the way I thought it would be, which is all I wanted, it turned into an argument. I had left the restaurant unexpectedly so I was unaware until I was on the way to an appointment I had forgotten with a sudden take out box after just having received it on a plate. If I had been there still, I'm sure that they would have corrected it for me instead I was treated badly and educated on how their food as well as ANY OTHER restaurant would prepare it the same. Something I know to not be true with at least one restaurant I know of in the area. Once I was done with the appointment I was refunded the meal long with more education on the presence of fine small print about things to be aware of, along with a friendly reminder about having the right to refuse service. As if I had any intention to return. The individual mocked me when I couldn't remember the name of someone who helps run the place that I think of as a friend there. He snidely said I know the name of my friends. I will miss miguel he was always so friendly and he would have corrected it along with explaining but correcting nonetheless. Better to have a happy longtime customer instead of turning them into a...

We stopped by Los Paisas and had high hopes based on the reviews. We ordered a mix for the family — I got the fajita burrito, my wife had the combination fajitas plate, the kids got a crunchy taco and chicken tenders, and we shared a queso flameado with fajita to start.
The chips and salsa were solid — probably the best part of the meal. But unfortunately, the rest didn’t hit the mark:
My burrito was just okay — nothing special.
My wife’s plate came out missing the chicken, and her guac looked old and dark.
My daughter didn’t enjoy her taco — the shell seemed stale.
My son said the tenders tasted like frozen chicken left open in the freezer.
My wife also mentioned the onions tasted store-bought, not fresh.
I personally didn’t have a major issue, but with the rest of the family not enjoying their food, we won’t be coming back. Staff was friendly, but overall the quality just didn’t meet...
Read moreI had the Tampiquena: Chicken or beef, with rice, beans, a single cheese enchilada, pico, tortilla, and a "cheese puff".
The "cheese puff" was just a small tortilla bowl filled with nacho cheese, but let's ignore that.
The pico had wilted cilantro, and the chicken was both tough, and barely warm (cooked fully though.)
All of that said, you'd think I'd rate my experience significantly lower. And normally I would... However... And here's the but.
Whoever they have in the kitchen knows exactly and precisely what they're doing with spices. Everything was flavored wonderfully, and it all paired well for a meal that was well worth the price. I've had meals from restaurants that charge significantly more and either under or over season.
So for spending less than 10 bucks in the middle of a Sunday, it was preparation, and flavor far beyond anything that I had expected. The host knew what he was doing when he...
