Yummy Buffet — Restaurant in Coal Township

I am a Chinese buffet enthusiast. I’ve been to every Chinese buffet from Selinsgrove to Hazleton up to bloomsburg ect. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese buffet you will find around this area for about an hour drive or more in all directions. Not sure if all of the buffets around here have bad reviews, but I don’t know why this one would. My favorite is the takeout option which I stop in for frequently by myself (sometimes with my boyfriend.) I even stop in sometimes just to say hi and use the bathroom if I have to go because Walmart is gross lol… The young lady who usually operates the register, who I assume to be the owner, is very kind and always says greets me and does friendly banter, while keeping professionalism as well. Never had a bad experience here when the owner is there, and I love all of the buffet food. The food is never cold (If you’re getting takeout or buffet, never got table service), and the price for the buffet is about 30 dollars or so for 2 people including drinks. Takeout goes by the weight of your takeout box, and if you STUFF your to go box, it’s like $20 MAX and will last you 2 whole days. I can even reheat my leftovers and enjoy it. Overall the atmosphere isn’t bad at all. The people are friendly. And the food is great. Again, best buffet around here as of October 2023. I will be spending my money here again in a couple days, have been for like 2 years now, and will never get sick of it. Can’t find a better buffet. If you don’t like Chinese food then I can’t help you, but give it a shot. I love it here. :) if I had to find one bad thing to say about this place I guess I would say that the road to the buffet has many holes. That’s it!! Can’t think of anything else I would change. They get one star only so I can tell you not to eat here we went at 3pm got charged dinner prices and the frog legs were spoiled I as a professional food manager brought this to the staffs attention and she blamed the supplier and after that they would not refill our drinks I wasn't rude about what had happened I kept it quiet so outher people wouldn't hear the conversation all I was trying to do is protect customers from getting sick from eating spoiled food now understanding that I love frog legs I eat them all the time so I know when they are bad and these were rotten and should have never been cooked in the first place we will not be going back even of its free I do not recommend this...

Have eaten at this oriental buffet a few times. We drove here especially to eat here. This will be our last time there, EVER. Within 20 minutes of eating there (our only meal of the day), we both became nauseous and had EXTREME gastric issues. We have NEVER eaten anywhere which has caused us both to be so horribly sick, especially at the same time ! The words “food poisoning” comes to mind ! We will NEVER set foot in the place ever again.
