ZAUQ Grill N Chicken (halal) — Restaurant in Cockeysville

Tasty halal burgers at a great price!

Tried Zauq Grill N Chicken recently and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a halal spot offering a nice variety of sandwiches, burgers, and chicken over rice.

We ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken Burger and the Hot Chicken Burger—both came with double-fried chicken patties and were delicious. Super crispy and flavorful! At just $8.99, the price is very reasonable for the quality.

The chicken over rice was also great—generous portion size and filling. They have a wide range of drink options, which is always a plus. Only downside is that pizza is no longer available on the menu, which we were hoping to try.

There’s also a side shop inside the restaurant that sells smoke and accessories, which some might find off-putting in a food setting, but overall the place is clean and service was good.

Would definitely recommend it for a quick, affordable...

Unfortunately, not the best place to eat. They lack consistency. Went there twice because we liked the fish platter first time around (I also left a great review to help their new business) and today we were served with the worst tasting fish ever. Completely different batter and crust on the fish with HUGE amounts of salt, completely unbearable to eat. We were left with eating just the rice and salad for dinner. Of course, I called the restaurant and told them about the fish, I was told I can get a free fish meal next time I visit. Thanks, I appreciate the offer but I am not looking to get a free meal out of you guys, I just wanted to get a decent dinner for tonight. Leaving an honest review here. This is a new food place in Cockeysville and I am always looking for a good food place to stumble into. Well this is one of those places. I ordered their fish sandwich and the mint lemonade and they were good picks. The sandwich was delicious and the size of the sandwich was generous that I enjoyed it as a snack later in the day. When I took a sip of the mint lemonade it caught me off guard on how good it was that I said "Wow" and the person next to me noticed my reaction and we struck up a conversation. And he said he had ordered the mint lemonade too because it is just that good. Anyhow, I would recommend this place hands down for their good food and service. I can't wait to try other things...
