Passing through town I drove by and said to myself: "They have to have lobster rolls!" . I turned around and went back. Sure enough; they had lobster rolls. You could get it Maine style with mayonnaise or Connecticut style with drawn butter. And you can super size it. Yes, of course I did and tried the CT style. It was great! So delicious and lots of tender, succulent lobster meat. I got a choice of fries or chowder as a side. I tried the NE Style chowder and it was thick and had plenty of clams and just the right amount of potatoes. I washed it down with a Vanilla Porter and I must say that I'll be stopping in every time I'm up in the area. The service was friendly and quick. BTW: you can sit inside of out. I chose inside and sat at the super clean bar. There were four TV's and two had football games, one had sports videos, and one had animal & cat videos. I loved the cat videos! Overall it made for a great dining experience and you must try it!!!
2/23/21:. Passing through town again, my car made an immediate turn into Jazzy's. I'm sorry, but the CT style Lobster roll with NE England clam chowder was so good that I had to have it again. Tried a Nitro brew that was so good. Had to get some conch fritters for the ride back. Lisa was very attentive and gave great service. Amazingly, arriving at 2:30pm and the place was crowded (that speaks volumes) but easily got seated. BTW: dog friendly.....sit outside in the tiki area. Folks, you have to try this seafood restaurant!!!
7/15/21. Passing through town again. Stopped and had the New England style super sized lobster roll with mayo. Side of fries and delicious cole slaw. This style lobster roll is just as good as the CT style. Don't pass by this wonderful place for seafood. Excellent beer selection, too. Plenty of parking and you can eat inside or outside under the tiki. Service is always attentive and friendly. Today Olivia was my bartender/server. Great job! Folks, you have to try this restaurant/pub.
12/11/21. Passing through town and my car automatically turned north and went to Jazzy's. I had to have the usual....CT Style oversized lobster roll with a New England clam chowder and I tried a Ten10 Santa Stout on tap. Mmmmm......ALL sooo good. The stout had a hint of chocolate and was not a dark stout. It was very good! I sat at the bar and Jordan took care of serving me. As usual, friendly! So, untill the next time I'm up in...
Read moreDo you ever just wake up one day and want lobster? Most of us would be lying if we said no… but where do we go!?
I searched around and found Jazzy’s Mainley Lobster and hot dang!
Located in Cocoa Beach, this little spot seems to stay busy and that’s always a good sign when you’re surrounded by places that offer Seafood. I have never found a place that offers lobster like this place!
The dining room is fairly small with the feel of a bar versus a restaurant, very casual and loud, which would be the only reason I will not be going back all the time. It’s quite overcrowded and seems to move at a fast pace and felt rushed for the prices that Seafood cost which is more often than not; a splurge.
Now let’s talk about the food! SCRUMPTIOUS and worth every penny!
The new England poutine was one of my favorite fry dishes I can recall having. The french fries were super crispy and covered in a flavorful chowder and cheese. Anyone who is a fan of poutine or disco fries will be in heaven!
The lobster rolls were on toasted buttery buns, filled fully with fresh lobster meat, and a choice of your side. My mouth started watering when they came to the table.
The true star of the show will always be a whole lobster. And they seem to offer 3 to 4 different sizes which is perfect if you want to have one to yourself or share.
Is cracking lobster messy? Yes! Did my partner almost finish his food before I had finished dissecting my meal? Also, yes. Did I take a shower when I got home to wash off the smell of fish? Again, yes! Worth. It!
The meat was succulent, perfectly cooked and honestly I had a blast getting dirty.
This is not a meal or task for the squeamish or impatient, but if you’d like to play with your food and reel in that feeling that you’ve earned your meal..you definitely need to order a whole lobster! (pro tip-watch a YouTube video before you go if you’ve never done it before)
Overall Jazzy’s offers a menu that is both unique and delicious! Fresh seafood. Large portions and beautifully fried sides. However, it is an expensive meal for a sports bar atmosphere, with rushed service, uncomfortable seating and it’s...
Read moreBilled for food we never received. We had two drinks each, one calamari app and two lobster rolls. One lobster roll regular size. One lobster roll ordered as Super-sized or double meat. Their current MP market price for a regular lobster roll is $29.99. Super size it for an additional $17.00, making it a $46.99 lobster roll! The calamari app came out a few minutes before the lobster rolls. I was still eating the calamari when the rolls came out. First thing we noticed was the two rolls looked the same, one was not bigger than the other. We discussed it and came to the conclusion that the waitress probably didn’t hear me and just ordered two regular sized rolls. Okay, I had the calamari anyway so no big deal. My wife pointed out that the waitress didn’t even list off sides that came with the meal and concluded she was kind of spaced out. The bill came $128 plus before tip. It included $17.00 for the Supersized Lobster roll that has double the meat. See picture showing two rolls clearly showing they are equal meat. When the waitress came to pick up the bill and payment I told her we only got two regular rolls and not the supersized roll I ordered and am being billed for. I said I have a photo on my phone. She responded that I should have told her before we ate them. I repeated I have a photo. She was less than cordial and was walking away and we got up and told her we’d write this review. Walking to our car past the back of the restaurant we saw her and overheard her discussing it with a manager. We conversed with them passing by and he offered to refund the $17.00. It was way too late for that, the attitude from the waitress and the smirking faces of the two was enough to ruin the night. I told them I’d review them and post photos as well. I don’t like getting ripped off but I’d rather lose a few bucks than deal with them. BTW, we still left a 20% tip on the full overcharged bill. Thing is we typically leave 30-35% for good to stellar service. Should have...
