I have been a loyal customer of Juice 'N Java Cafe for four amazing years now, and I can confidently say that this local spot deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The smoothies were good but I was disappointed in my cappuccino and especially disappointed in the customer service. I ordered a cappuccino and could not taste anything but milk. It was 3/4 milk and a tiny amount of espresso at the bottom. I never actually saw or tasted the espresso. I told a young man that I just wanted to add some coffee since I couldn’t get to the espresso. I thought he would say absolutely and move on. He called the manager over who responded that it was made exactly as it should be made and that I just wasn’t use to drinking cappuccino and maybe I had a cappuccino confused with a latte. I showed him it was all milk and he said it’s suppose to be that way. I was shocked by his response. I just spent $25 and just wanted him to add 5 cents worth of coffee. He then added to the cappuccino and I told him thank you. My drink was much better but I forgot about my drink because I was just frustrated by the comments. I felt like defending their cappuccino was more important than making a customer happy. I also felt like he was talking down to me when he was explaining why the cappuccino they made me was perfect. I’ve been drinking cappuccinos since the 80’s and to me it wasn’t perfect. When he delivered my sons food, he did check to see if I liked it better and was Ok. At that point I was already irritated. After the cappuccino debacle, my son was told they ran out of ranch dressing and he would have to wait. Not sure the smoothies are worth the very average...

I usually love this place, but today was gross! An entitled young woman and her friend with their dog inside the restaurant eating and taking their sweet time. The dog is barking at children. One patron asked the ladies to move outside and they did not. They went outside and they said oh it’s cold and they went right back inside and sat down again with their noisy dog.

As a certified food and beverage manager, I am disappointed that this establishment cannot seem to get their strength to tell customers that they don’t belong inside with their dogs that are not service animals. This was not a service animal because I talked directly to the women and said you shouldn’t have the dog inside if it’s not a service animal And they both looked at me stupid asking “oh it’s not OK to bring dogs inside”?

NO, IT IS NOT! YOUR DOG HAS UNCLEAN PARTS OF HIS BODY IN A FOOD SERVICE AREA AROUND PEOPLE THAT DON’T NEED ECZEMA, FLEAS, OUTDOOR BUGS, AND WHATEVER ELSE IS ON YOUR DOG NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK YOU WASH HIM CLEAN. KEEP IT ON THE PATIO WITH THE OTHER GOOD PATRONS WHO ACTUALLY KEEP THEIR DOGS ON THE PATIO.

Owner team for JNJ stop being afraid to ask these patrons to step outside for those of us who have allergies to animals and don’t want them lingering in food service areas! Your staff kept walking by the dog and owners without a word!
