In FLL/Miami, I have been to several of Pita places and I can definitely tell you what are the best places for shawarma, wraps or pita. On our trip to KSC, we decided to stop by dinner based on the reviews. We ordered two chicken shawarma wrap and one falafel wrap.
On a low rating, I do see a comment from the owner "we take pride in our offering freshly made food" and I gonna get the same comment, for sure.
Now both chicken shawarma and pita was lackluster. They just had the wrap (it's okay, some use pita bread and others use wrap) with some sauce and falafel/chicken. Simple Google image would show a shawarma wrap is nice bundle of veggies and falafel/chicken. Though the falafel looked crispy from outside but was uncooked from inside. We did ask for replacement, and staff was kind enough to replace it. But even the replacement was the same, crispy from outside and uncooked inside (it is result of too-hot oil). We left half our food unfinished.
Anyway, loved the staff and their service was good and were kind enough to serve us 45 minutes before the closing. However, it is NO-GO with the food for me, family, & kids. Hopefully next time, if I stop by, I hope to eat better...

Read moreBeing half Greek, I haven’t found a truly good Greek restaurant in a long time. While on vacation I came across this Greek-Spanish fusion spot with a 4.9 rating and honestly, it deserves a full 5 stars. Some reviews nitpick about things unrelated to the food, but the quality here is outstanding. Haydee, the owner, was so welcoming. I ordered the Greek beef shish kabob with black beans, Spanish rice, tzatziki, and a true Greek salad without lettuce, just like I remembered from the island of Andros. The dressing was spot-on, the beef fresh and flavorful, and the rice and beans were delicious. It was the perfect portion, and when I asked for pita bread, she happily brought some over. Not only was the food amazing, but the atmosphere was bright, inviting, and full of charm. Next time I’m in town, I’ll...
