Before i begin, i know yall are new in town and still hopefully working on interior decor. Its a bit too white wash and needs more color . I beleive this is due to tbe openess of all the windows at the front. First the negatives, if your going to serve meals on nice China plates you really should serve the drinks in glasses instead of paper cups. I noticed that new plates were being placed on clean tables after each table was cleared and cleaned. I hope that at closing the tables are left empty till the next business day. Also since the ceiling is open that the tables are cleaned and sanitized pryor to placing new plates and silver ware on them the next day due to possibility of dust from the ceiling settling on the tables over night. There should be salt and pepper shakers as well as red pepper shakers on the tables with the parmasean cheese shakers. The ceiling really needs to be insulated and covered as it makes for a major noise enhancer. If a baby crys it's amplified due to the noise bouncing off the open ceiling. The amount of times I was asked how I was doing and if everything was OK was a little over the top. Twice is usually ample and if the customer needs anything your waitresses should be watching from a distance for her customers signal that they need something. This restaurant is set up as an open air concept so all your customers are easily seen from any angle. For my meal, I ordered the manicotti. When the waitress x3 were asked how many manicotti came in an order they didn't know. Only one waitress acknowledged that she wasn't sure and would go ask the manager. The cost was a bit elevated for this area and at first glance it seemed a bit on the shy side for the serving. But after I started eating it I found that the sauce was wonderful and the manicotti was very flavorful and full of cheese. The meal came with a side salad and bread so I actually got full and still had about 3 bites of manicotti left but couldn't finish it which is a good thing. There was no sence taking that little bit home though. After eating, I was scanning the dining area. Its a bit crowded the way the tables are set up but I'm sure after a while they might try different placements. The front of the restaurant was nothing but windows so there was heaps of light streaming in. Could use a bit of tinting to dull the brightness a bit. Most times , Italian restaurants have a bowl with butter mints that they give away to customers as they are leaving .The mint helps the settle the stomach when you have eaten too much. Butter mints would be a nice touch. Try to train your waitress to upsell. If I had been asked if I wanted desert I would have naturally asked what types of deserts were available. After I picked up a go menu I noticed what deserts were available and defently would have chose one to take with me. This makes for a higher ticket . Maybe start a contest with your waitresses to see who can upsell the most. Another idea would be , ( if you have the room) is to build a bar and sell mixed drinks etc. I'm not a drinker per say but most Italian restaurants do have full bars or side bars for liquor service to your customers. All in all the meal was great and the service was great as well. The nerves were in full swing tonight but when your crew settles in and memorizes the menu and knows what goes with what, the nerves will settle down and they will be flying thru that restaurant like pros... Welcome to Coffeyville, KS. Stay a while. I look forward to my next meal...
Read moreI recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at this exceptional Italian restaurant, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. A special shoutout must go to Rhonda, the manager, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor truly went above and beyond. Rhonda’s passion for providing top-notch service was evident in every interaction, from offering insightful menu recommendations to ensuring our every need was met with a smile. Her dedication to creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere made us feel valued and appreciated throughout the entire visit.
Now, onto the food—simply outstanding. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and seasoned to perfection. The pasta was cooked al dente, with flavors that transported my taste buds straight to Italy. The seafood dishes were bursting with freshness, and the sauces were rich, flavorful, and expertly balanced. The presentation of each plate was beautiful, showing the care and artistry that the kitchen staff put into their craft. Whether it was the classic lasagna, the flavorful risottos, or the delectable desserts, every bite was a delight that left us craving more.
The ambiance of the restaurant is beautifully inviting, combining elegant decor with a cozy vibe that makes every meal feel special, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a casual night out. The staff overall are courteous and attentive, but Rhonda’s leadership truly elevates the entire experience to another level.
In summary, this restaurant is a gem, thanks in large part to Rhonda’s exceptional management and the truly magnificent food they serve. It’s rare to find a place where the quality of cuisine matches the warm, professional service. I will definitely be returning soon and will be enthusiastically recommending this spot to friends and family. If you’re looking for authentic Italian flavors served with genuine care and excellent hospitality, look no further – this is the...
Read moreI want to start by saying, if this review was based souly off the food I'd of given 10 stars if I could! The food is absolutely amazing! Homemade pasta, homemade sauces that are made to order and the best of the best! I am not from this area, but will travel to eat here on many many occasions from here on out!
My only issue is If you order a dish and eat in your getting a salad with your entree. They don't do that with Togo orders. Plus, you get smaller portions. So I really think they should fix this! If I order a side salad by itself it costs $3.99. The food is absolutely delicious though. So thank you for the best Italian Ive ever had!
Over the course of several visits we've had the shrimp fettuccine (best Alfredo sauce I have literally ever had, and shrimp perfect despite being Togo, hard to do!), lobster ravioli (ravioli's were huge and phenomenal!), manicotti (never like I've had, but in a good way, more cheese than ricotta, but soft, elegant shells), focaccia bread(love how generous they are with the cheese!).
Additionally, a marinara sauce was left out of one of my several orders, just once out of many, not a big deal. So I called and said I'd come back and get it, before I could do that the owner herself called me back and offered to bring it to me! I've never had that kind of dedication! Very good...
