McDonald's — Restaurant in Colchester

Why my family member went back here after our experience below I dont know but just didnt want to driver farther to another establishment. Went to the drive-thru and young male voice is whispering so to make it easy ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal but make it large so a large french fry and a large coke, told they can't do that. Told meal only come medium. Then told they can give her a large fry but the soda has to be medium only. She asked "i can't get a large soda" to which she is yelled at that "do you want it or not".... asked charge extra and please make the soda large, again "do you want it or not? I already told you No". Just said never mind and driving away you can no hear the male voice clear as day, like they are at a football game, mouthing off through the speaker box..... You have to feel bad for the kind manager they have here. She says herself she is trying her best with kids that dont want to listen and dont want to work, she even said they are making her crazy..... Colchester why dont you learn to raise your children with a semblance of respect and morals. All we wanted was something to eat before I head off to another 12 hour night shift. Went through and ordered our meal, was asked to pull forward which you usually think OK they are cooking something like the fries fresh..... COULDNT BE MORE WRONG got home 10 minutes away and everything is ICE COLD. What did I pull forward for? They knew exactly what they were wrapping up and putting in the bag. Spoke to a nice manager who said come back and would refund us but that's not for another day or 2 now based on my schedule. She said they are trying to make this a better McDonald's - well close it and retrain everyone or better yet fire them all...

Colchester CT McDonald’s! Consistently terrible across the board for 24 years! Dirty, outdated restaurant! Food always cold and dried out, French Fries dark and cold, milkshake machine always broken, wrong orders, and missing items. Poorly managed. The last ten visits I have had items missing. Even on a single order they forget the fries? Every McDonald’s in CT I’ve ever been to has been great! And the only reason I still go to Colchester is because it is local. One day I did get hot fries and I bragged to my son that he should have had me get him fries that day because they were hot! One day in a year! I consistently have to keep going back begging for the food that I purchased that they forgot to give me. I try to check the order before I leave. Sometimes we just can’t see everything at the bottom of the bag while we are holding up the line and staff are reassuring us that everything is there. It’s time corporate stepped in and cleaned up this restaurant. The people of Colchester deserve better. They certainly deserve what they pay for! Well, golly gee! I stopped by McDonald's the other day, and let me tell ya, it’s just as bustling as a beehive in spring! The golden arches are like a beacon, calling folks in for a quick bite.

Now, the menu’s got all the classics: Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, and those famous fries that are crispy and golden, just the way I like ‘em. The smell alone is enough to make your mouth water! I went for a cheeseburger and some fries, and boy, did it hit the spot.

The place was clean, and the staff were as friendly as can be, hustling and bustling to keep things running smoothly. Service was quick, too. I barely had time to admire the decor before my order was ready.
